Excellent Lighting Bar
Great idea for illuminating your desk and it mounts on the top edge of your screen. No sticky pads or holes required, just gravity. And if you have a webcam in that location it simply mounts between the monitor and the webcam. It's not cheap, but is probably one of the best on the market and has plenty of features with controls built onto the bar itself. Great for your eyes if your environment is normally a very dark room with a bright monitor (typical gamer's setup). Easy to see items on the desk to work, without causing excessive screen glare. Good purchase.

Amazing quality screen bar for everyday use
Amazing quality screen bar that provides perfect light coverage for my desk. Intuitive touch controls make it really easy to use and the different functions make it super versatile throughout the day. Even though it’s pricey compared to others it’s worth every penny

It stays put and all functionality is still working after 8 months of daily use. A good product.
I have had it for 8 months now, I use it every day for many hours and it's been great. It stays put, you don't need to be super careful with it and the light is just right. After 8 months all the functionality is there as new. I tend to have it not so bright but when I am need bright light I just let it adjust itself and it's fine. The motion sensing still works too.

Massive improvement for doing dextrous tasks at a desk. Also great for everyday computer use
This has been an unexpected game changer for my desk setup. The colour quality (CRI) seems very good, the brightness is adjustable and can go pretty high, and similarly the adjustable colour temperature allows matching to the time of day and other lighting in the room. The reflector arrangement is good – it manages to get light fairly evenly across most of the desk without spilling any on the monitor itself (which would make for ugly reflections). The bracket/clamp thing isn't the best but it does stay in place well enough (although if I had a sit-stand desk or a wobbly desk, I would worry it could fall). While it's fine for computer use as designed, using this light in combination with a regular desk/task lamp really improves the ease with which you can do fine dextrous tasks like mending something with small screws. The only thing I don't like is the light is quite directional and specular, in other words, despite being even it is not very soft or diffuse. Overall, highly recommend.

Better than the HALO (until they fix the backlight)
I bought the Halo and returned it. Main problem was that you can't adjust front and back light separately and the front light tends to be brighter than the back light. This does only one thing and works well: the sensor (that you can disable) turns it on automatically when you sit at the desk, and after 5 minutes it turns off automatically. The support is wide enough that when you tap your fingers on the controls it doesn't wobble at all. I find the on-off button a bit hard to spot in some light conditions (the backlight of that button is usually off and the brightness of the lamp in a dark room make it hard to see), but I found a trick: the button it's the first one on the right hand side, so I just slide my finger on the bar and when I feel the edge of the controls panel I know I'm almost there and continue slowly until the lamp turns off. The presence sensor will deactivate for a minute after the lamp has been turned off, to give you time to step away. You'll know it's "waiting" because it blinks. Buttons backlight turns off automatically at night. Quality of light is excellent. I actually prefer to the Halo also because you don't need an external controller sitting on your desk (saving space and batteries). Only two concerns: - the automatic brightness mode overrides the temperature selection (you can't force to stay warm or cold and just adjust the brightness); in practice I don't find the quality bad at all; - the lip may cover the webcam if embedded in your monitor; I have an Apple Studio Display and it's just above. It doesn't cover it (as the Halo did), but it's very very close. I think they should have left a gap in the center to make it embedded web-cam safe.

Let there be light for our important work
Like other worker drones I reside in a dark box devoid of natural light and since scratching the wall lights off with my knarled finger nails I have been crouching in near complete darkness. Needless to say this makes it difficult to tap out my generic and possibly useless emails on a keyboard I cannnot see. I often fumble around blindly for my mouse only to find it has scampered away into that damned hole in the corner! The solution I found was fire. But after several burns and the IT department confiscating my matches I was back to the drawing board. Fortunatly the drawing board contained the answer, a previous occupant of my cell had scratched a single word into the surface... "screenbar" Eagerly I smashed at my keyboard and hurredly searched for it, my dialup modem groaning under the workload. There it was, the holy grail! I quickly hurled the grail to one side and went back to the web page clicking 'Buy Now and Don't Delay'. One cold, sleepless night later and the parcel dropped down through my feeding tube. Set up was easy using the included USB plug and it sits right on the top of my monitor next to the cockroaches. The warm glow reminds me of the outside and I can finally see the small area directly below and in front of my screen. The rest of the room remains a mystery.

Perfect addition to WFH set-up
Arrived on time and as described. Perfect addition to WFH set-up although for some it might be a little pricey. However, it is one of those accessories you didn't know you needed until you got it and the reviews are spot on. Nice addition is the webcam bracket that sits on top.

Believe the hype! Blew me away how good this is
As the nights grow darker I was getting frustrated by the desk lamp I had. Monitor light bars seemed to be the answer but I was skeptical. Went for BenQ because they are supposed to be the best (from watching many many videos) and I am so happy with this product. First note for anyone curious - I am powering it via USB-C from the KVM build into my Dell monitor, the plug is not needed. My desk is 150cm wide and this has no problem lighting it up. I was worried it would be intrusive on the top of the monitor and that is good too. I wanted one without a remote control (less desk clutter) and the touch buttons work fine. 2 criticisms (1 serious, 1 silly) - the buttons stay illuminated all the time, this is a little distracting and I am not a fan, but it is so good, I'm willing to overlook this. On the silly side, it has revealed how dirty my keyboard is!! I use a white and silver Mac magic keyboard so I definitely get some reflection from it. Not uncomfortable but I am considering a less reflective keyboard.

The best monitor lightbar money can buy even for thin panels like oleds
I am super happy with this. The difference between this lightbar and others like Quintis is the same as the difference between an OLED panel and LCD panel. You don't realize how good it is unless you try it yourself. It barely touches the panel display and rests elegantly against the body of a thin monitor. The brightness is really good and build quality is just much better. The mounting design makes the fit flawless even for thin panels like an OLED. It might be expensive, but it's worth it for the peace of mind it brings that your monitor won't be damaged. Would recommend this above ANY other monitor lightbar having tried other premium brands like Quintis myself.

Clean, simple, and exactly what my desk needed
I’m genuinely in love with this lightbar. It completely streamlined my workspace — I was able to remove my desk lamp, which instantly reduced clutter and made everything feel cleaner and more intentional. The lighting is perfect for writing and working. I use an OLED monitor, and I was a bit nervous about glare, but there’s none. It lights up my desk beautifully without shining directly into my eyes, and I really appreciate not having an exposed bulb glaring back at me. The auto shut-off feature is also a small detail that makes a big difference. My only complaint is the webcam adapter. It doesn’t have a screw thread, which would’ve been ideal. I’m currently shopping for a webcam, and most use a threaded mount. Because of that, I have to rely on the clamp arms, which makes the webcam sit higher than I’d prefer. It works, but I would’ve loved the option to screw it in securely instead of clamping it on. That said, the lightbar itself clamps perfectly onto my monitor and feels solid. Overall, I’m really happy with this purchase. It’s one of those upgrades that quietly improves your everyday workspace without trying too hard.

Acquisto azzeccato

Smart technologies and premium quality
The product is expensive, but worth the money. You understand this clearly when you use it. Adaptive brightness adjustment and automatic switching on and off depending on your presence at your workplace are extremely convenient. A truly smart and technological device.

Excellent light
Simple setup and for my AOC monitor it works very well and has excellent stability. It’s so stable I placed my webcam on top of it . The automatic sense seems to work well and I find it responsive to my presence. Lots of brightness levels, and the color temperature adjustment is nice. I don’t use the automatic adjustment as I find the color temperature it chooses is too cool, almost blue. This is subjective so I don’t consider this a flaw of the item. There’s no remote however the controls are easily accessible, backlit, and visible. The stability is so good that it doesn’t move while making setting adjustments. I think it’s an excellent value for the price.
