Nice price for a little gadget that works just fine.----Blinking lights SOLVED problem Sept 20 -2017
Working as required. Not buying batteries anymore! UPDATE 20 SEPT 17 --- Well the charging process was failing......All I got was blinking lights on the charger and no charging made on the controls. Hard time trying to make the lights stop blinking... The solution : Use a piece of fine sand paper and pass it on the charger contacts that move out when you sit the control in the charger cradle . Use your finger to simulate the control being put in the cradle and when the contacts come out ...just pass the sand paper a couple of times and then test the charger normally by sitting the controls. Worked for me and no more blinking lights.....!!!! Update---2019---- after a while the blinking would come back even with the clean contacts in the charger.......solution....do the same on the Control exterior battery contacts that touch the charger........We need to keep doing it for maintenance when ever it happens again.....so just.keep the contacts clean.

Look Ma! No mo' batteries!
Well, my headline isn't really that literal as you are still using a battery pack, only it's rechargeable. Convenient and easy to use but an instruction manual would have been a plus. In practice, plug the USB cord to a Wii/WiiU and wait until fully charged. But how will you know if its done? No mention. And keeping the charging base connected to an active Wii isn't highly recommended if you want to increase your unit's longevity. Fortunately, I own a Hori PS4 controller USB charging plug ( I can't say if any standard USB plug is compatible though) which I can directly connect to a power socket. The charging base connects flawlessly! And it takes roughly an hour and a half to fully charge (the base flashes from red to green once fully charged (too bad the set does not mention this so it was all trial and error hence I gave this a 4/5). Another plus is the price. for $ 11.00 this is a must for any Wii/WiiU owner!

Finally, a Wiimote charger that works!
I've had two other Wiimote chargers, and both of them were lacking. The first would barely hold a charge. The second was an Energizer that used a contactless pad to charge the remotes. It worked well enough, but after a while one of the batteries died in it, and positioning the Wiimotes on the pad could be fussy. This on the other hand is a dual holster that holds them securely. The batteries certainly last long enough for a few hours' play. This one I can recommend.

If this item ever becomes available again: It works.
It does what it's supposed to do and that's great by me. It has a cheap-feeling plasticky charging dock that looks nice on my desk. It didn't come with a USB brick, so fish out one of the 5000 you have left over from all of your phones prior to USB-C. The connection is imperfect, and you will frequently get blinking lights that tell you the controller isn't *really* charging until you wiggle it just right. I feel like the charges don't last that long but then again I might be spoiled by how the switch's controller lasts as long as Uranium's half-life. They last a hell of a lot longer than the PS4 controller, and around as long as the PS3's. Is it perfect? No. It's a regular product, that is regularly reliable, so here's a regular review telling you that I'm very satisfied with what I got, I'll probably never replace it, and even though it's flawed I got what I paid for and that's perfect for me.

Best solution I have found.
We bought one of these about a year or so ago, and recently got another for the other 2 remotes. The batteries are actually of decent quality and after a year still keep their charge just fine. We tried some other cheaper solutions but after a few weeks they would not keep charge, but these have been great.

These pay for them selves many times over
First set received had defective batteries - replaced without issue and the second set charges great - beware however - the batteries that come in this 2X kit are smaller capacity than the ones that come in the 3X set - the controllers only last about 3 hrs before going dead where as the others last 4.5 to 5 hrs. Still - these pay for them selves many times over compared to even the best regular batteries.

Don't buy these!
I'd give it 0 stars if I could. My son got this as part of his Xmas gift. He's 5 so he is just getting into video games. We only used it 1 time as he wasn't into his game system yet and then set controllers off to the side. Now that he is really wanting to play more and its only a few months later we try and charge his controllers again and after 1 charge it will not charge the batteries. They sit red for awhile and then fast blink red but never charge. I wish I'd gone elsewhere since I can't get a refund or replacement.

Comes with short cord and only charges while Wii is turned on, must be placed directly next to Wii
This charger is nice and by a reputable brand however it has a few problems. The first problem is it only comes with a very short USB cord which means that the charger is going to have to sit directly next to the Wii, it won't be able to be moved more than a couple inches away, if you want to place the charger elsewhere forget it, or if you want to wrap the cord around the back of your TV stand, you will not be able to do this.. The cord has a special plug on the end so it can't be replaced with a longer USB cable. This charger is designed to plug into your Wii, but the Wii has to be turned on and NOT in standby mode or turned off in order to provide power to the charger (Same for the Wii U). This doesn't make a lot of sense because when your Wii is turned on you are most likely playing it and not putting the remotes on the dock to charge. So you would have to put your remotes on the charger while the Wii is turned on in order to charge them, there is no other way unless you make modifications. With that being said this is a big problem and its not too easy to resolve, you will need a USB extension cord which aren't too easy to get and a USB adapter (easy to get) to resolve this problem, plus you will need an extra outlet to plug this into. By including a AC adapter and a longer cord with this charging station this problem would be solved and you wouldn't have to buy extras just to make this work properly. Unless you are able to find another device on your entertainment stand that can power something while its in standby mode or turned off, you will have to purchase a couple of extra's to make this work the way you want it to and the way it was intended to.
