Jarrow Vitamin D3 Supplements 125 mcg (5,000 IU), 100 Softgels

Low vitamin D runs in my family and has been an issue for me. Because it’s an issue when it shows up low on my annual physical I take supplements to bring it back up and get rechecked every 6 months until it is back where it should be. I went through a few supplement brands before ordering this one. The others did not work well in getting my levels back up. This one was great. Easy to swallow small capsules. I usually take 10 a week. No stomach issues and my levels increased back up to where they should be quickly.

It says on the bottle best used by September 2023,but it was delivered in December 2023!

I live in a cloudy northern climate so need to supplement most of the year. Blood tests show it’s working and the correct dose: result was 75, ideal is 50-100, so hit the sweet spot. If you live in the sunny south but wear sunblock, the lower dose is probably enough. Best to check via blood test to make sure you’re not over- or under-doing it!

I feel more energy. my vitamin D is low so in February when I get lab work done I'll see if it really shows in my numbers. Fingers crossed.Update: 2/21/25 my Vitamin D level has increased within a normal range after 1 month of use. I highly recommend this product and will continue buying it

I've taken various D3 supplements and generally they all give me negative side effects for some reason. I assume this is due to the way the products are processed before they're pilled. Jarrow's Vitamin D3 did not give me any side effects, and I was able to take the dosages I wanted whereas I wasn't able to before. Jarrow's products are as close to pharmaceutical grade as you'll get, certainly at this price range - and I am confident that what I am taking is the fullest potency available to me. This product will become a part of my regular supplement routine and I recommend it to anyone looking to increase their Vitamin D levels safely and effectively.
