Vessel Electric Ball Grip Screwdriver Plus 3 Stage Switching Mode, 1 Bit Included, Electric Ball Plus 220USB-P1

This is a great item from Vessel. The fact that they have squeezed an electric motor, battery and speed controller into such a small package is remarkable. It works very well but there is one small niggle. This model is actually the Japanese variant and as such accepts bits with a 13 mm protrusion into the bit holder. This means that the supplied bit does not fit european screwdriver bit holders properly and european bits with the usual 6 mm or thereabouts extension are a sloppy fit in the bit holder. This can be remedied by purchasing a small insert (Makita I think) that fits onto the bit holder to take up the slack. I have though bought some more Vessel bits, Japanese spec, and they fit perfectly. I believe there is a european variant of this model somewhere. Just be aware that this particular model is intended for the Japanese market. It is very good though.

Great Quality as always from Vessel. I work as Maintenance in one of the large grocery retailers and wanted a lightweight rechargeable screwdriver instead of using my 18v Drill/Driver. I have found this to be perfect. It isn't the cheapest rechargeable screwdriver, but you do pay for quality. The Ball grip is comfortable and ergonomic and makes it easy to also use as a conventional screwdriver. There isn't a huge amount of torque, but then you shouldn't expect it of something this size.... you learn to give it a twist first to loosen the fixing before undoing it completely with the driver. I like that it is a conventional screwdriver shape as well rather than a 'pistol' shape. The long Screwdriver bits also make it great for getting to fixings that are recessed or in slots etc. There are two models with different speeds, I chose the slower as it enables you to have more control. I would recommend this item to anyone in the trade or even Diyers.

these are great huge upgrade on my previous bosch go 2nd gen. comfortable grip and great torque only used on patress screws for eicrs. only negative is not standard bit but picked up an offical vessel and great solid quality

Don’t usually write a review but find I must recommend this driver. Finally an electric screwdriver than you can control. Not a brutal tool. Handles like a real screwdriver, easily controlled from a gentle touch through to a good strong torque without striping screw head or thread. Feels good in your hand. Not bulky, switch well placed and well made. Very pleased with purchase.

Would recommend the cheaper non changeable speed one, as it has more torque and perfect speed.

I really liked this when it worked, it's a good size powerful enough for sockets and socket screws, looks nice, good battery life, but after only a handful of charges and a couple months of moderate use the bit holder part is breaking and the torque is after falling off.

This is the best tool I've bought in years. Rugged, good battery life and 3 torque setting. It has saved me so much time on control panels. Add a 1/4" drive or allen key drives to expand its versatility.
