I found this paper while searching for something to make patterns for sewing, and this works perfectly. It is thick enough to cut smoothly and transparent enough to trace. But tracing darker lines is easy; not so much when the original drawing is faint or too light. I added two photos to show the difference. If you are looking for paper for tracing light and detailed drawings you should look for a thinner, more translucent type or have a spotlight lamp to help because the paper is white and has a light gloss. The quality of this paper is good, but when tracing or drawing you have to be careful or it can tear if you press too hard. The roll has a smooth side and a raw side. The smooth side is easy to erase when working with a pencil and leaves little to no trace. The length and width allow for a good variety of sizes, in my case, making children or adult-size clothing patterns is doable thanks to the length and width of the roll. So far, I have made a variety of patterns and still have a good amount of paper left. I am satisfied with the purchase and highly recommend it., but keep in mind the few aspects mentioned above for your project.

More substance than tissue used for wrapping presents. Transparent enough that I could easily trace my size from a multisize pattern without destroying the original. Great product.

I use this to trace the pieces from the tissue paper sewing patterns from the big 4 patterns. It holds up really well and I’m able to utilize the pattern pieces that I cut out of this paper over and over without them disintegrating like the tissue paper does.

The tracing paper is the best I've used, the transparency is good, not heavy as others. Are great price compared to others.

Good product. A little harder to trace thru than I wanted but works ok.

This paper is great for pattern tracing, easy to handle, doesn't keep curling up, and light enough to store cut pattern. I would go with higher width next time, though, as some pattern pieces can be wider than 17".

Excellent product great price. As an artist lettering is tough without Tracing. This works great with great price
