I was hopeful, as I needed a brace to stabilize ankle after a small Avulsion fracture; sadly, my big hulking fracture boot is preferable than using this laced up brace. Using the word “compression” is a misnomer for there’s no compression here. Flimsy construction & rather uncomfortable. Cannot recommend; spend extra money and get something else!

This has been a life changing cheap buy! My lifelong unstable ankle that had a bad sprain a few years ago improves so much using this that instead near constant pain there's rarely any pain and any pain is much reduced. It fits in most of my shoes (zip up boots are the exception) and is pretty overall streamline and I can wear it to bed comfortably. I can walk for hours, run, chill, go up and down stairs, etc. the most comfortably I've been able to since I was a kid.I bought this to test out if I should invest in a more expensive ankle brace but this one has been good enough that I don't think I need to get another more expensive type. It's been through the washing machine and dryer a couple of times and come out fine on the other side.I recommend pulling laces tight a couple of holes from the bottom and doing a knot/bow with excess shoelace, then pulling the rest of the lace tight through the ankle and tying it off at the top.

I wanted something to support my ankle, transition from walking boot after a fracture. It works as I expected. I can wear it with my athletic shoes but have to leave the shoe untied and loose. It isn't too bulky but yet too much to fit inside of a normal fitting shoe. I noticed my ankle was less sore while wearing this than if I didn't have it on.

This product gives great ankle support. It does not come with instructions, but when it arrives it is assembled properly and its not super hard to figure out if you have disassembled it without paying attention. I have had this product for a few months and worn it for about 8 hours, 5 days a week and so far have had no issues with it. I use this product in a working capacity rather than a sporting capacity, I need this product to support and protect my ankle on uneven ground/tight movement areas while I lift heavy objects. When I first received this product I was concerned that it was a bit too loose (my foot size is at the cusp of being a medium or a large and I bought a large) and it seemed large on my foot, but after a layer of socks this product fits just fine. This brace has enough give to wrap around your foot securely, but is not flexible enough to bend once it is secured, so I do recommend socks too help prevent rubbing irritations, soak up any sweat, and create a nice snug fit. If you plan on wearing shoes while using this product, be aware that the circumference of your foot and ankle will be enlarged and may not fit in a slip-on shoe.

I was skeptical at first buying these online. But most of the reviews were helpful and positive. I have smaller ankles but a good size foot. Lolo. I wear a 8 1/2 - 9 women normal width. I was afraid the small would be too tight, so I purchased the medium. Im so happy I did. My only issue is getting them on securely. It hurts my back. So tightening them may cause a strain for your hips and lower back. The top part were you tirme them almost overlap on me. So that was my only con.I've had them on since they arrived this morning and they are easy to get used to. They sure have helped tremendously with the pain!! They work. Not 100% but what does.Nicely made, strong, easy to figure out. They are perfect for Rheumatoid Arthritis!!!

Comfortable provided much needed support and stability for my foot injury. Highly recommend I needed something to help support my foot after an injury, I walk 8 hours or more with little to no pain now with this brace.

If I didn’t need it for just a few days I’d return it. It’s very hard to get on and off, cheaply made, the Velcro straps are different lengths by about 1.5 inches. The tongue itches. I didn’t expect much for $15 but wish I’d paid $25 and gotten something not quite so aggravating to deal with.

Easy to use and lace but a bit bulky in soccer shoes and I got a bad blister in the tight shoes

Very comfortable to wear and the ankle feels well supported.

My wife had trouble getting on and wouldn't try anymore. But I thought it would have work good for her if she could have got it on.

This brace gave me solid support. It felt good inside a boot during winter but it's harder to try to fit in sports shoes, if you want to use it to restart gradually activities. It does eventually get in but if your ankle is still sensitive, you probably wouldn't want to apply pressure trying to put on a tighter shoe.Did its job though, practical and firm support to the ankle to keep it protected! Laces are long enough to tie it properly!
