King Pine Concentrated Pine Oil Multi-Surface Cleaner Industrial Strength, Original Black, 12 Fl Oz

In 2014, Pine Sol removed pine oil from their product. That ruined it for me, as I grew up with my mama using Pine Sol all around the house. I remember how wonderful it smelled back then, and I too, used it when I moved. You could not beat the incredible pine smell that came from the pine oil. After they changed the formulation, the smell was off the charts horrible. I quit buying Pine Sol many years ago, due to the change. I searched high and low and never could find anything to match the original Pine Sol, that I so loved. Until I found this! King Pine Concentrated Pine Oil. It smells exactly, 100% like the original Pine Sol did. I am so happy to have finally found something that smells so clean and so piney! I ordered the 8 oz., and it's worth every penny! It's very concentrated, so a little goes a long way. (Please note: This is just my opinion, that King Pine Concentrated Pine Oil smells just like the original Pine Sol). I will be buying this again! If you want the original Pine Sol smell, buy this! 10 stars!

I recently found out that the active ingredient in Pine Sol is no longer pine oil. Apparently pine oil became too expensive so they changed formulations. I should have known because the smell is more chemically now than I remembered. So I decided to give King Pine a try. And man, am I glad I did! I just received it today and mopped my floors with it. I mixed 1/4 cup into a gallon of water. Even caked on dirt and crud came up quickly and easy with this stuff, after a brief soak. I didn’t need to use my scrub brush at all! 😃 And I’m glad it disinfects too, so I can clean up pet urine without worry. I originally bought a small bottle just to see if I would like it. But I definitely plan on getting a bigger bottle next time. The only con is that it is a bit more expensive than I’m used to paying with regular cleaners. But it saved me so much time by not having to scrub and it has a great, real pine scent, so the extra expense is worth it to me.

After ALL these years still has that great pine smell that I have loved!! So glad that they are still available even if just on amazon!!

The product itself is strong and has a powerful scent that absolutely smells like it is concentrated and you don’t need a lot for it to actually work just like about a cap full size in order to clean with. I do like the way this smells making your house smell, nice and fresh and clean like pines, this can be used in any place within your home simply diluted and put it to use. I like to pour a little in the toilet just for the toilet to smell fresh.

I desperately needed a string floor cleaner to remove very old dirt under floor wax. This is the best product I've ever used! Very strong, but not altogether bad, scent. It works, I'm not kidding!

This works well! It is concentrated so the scent is strong. It smells like real pine and once you dilute it, it smells very clean and nice. I also put a little in a spray bottle that had a little mint cleaner and water and the resulting scent was even better. It cleans very well and I won’t be using pine sol anymore. I am replacing it with this product

When you twist off the cap, the smell is unmistakable; it smells like the Pine-Sol of yester-year. I've been looking for a substitute for Pine-Sol for years since they screwed up the formula, so I was very optimistic when I smelled this stuff. Sadly, the smell is where the similarities end. This stuff is very diluted and weak. They've dyed it black to try and mask just how very little pine oil is in the product. Remember when you'd pour a little Pine-Sol in some water and it'd turn the water milky white? And, remember the viscosity of the original stuff? Yeah, this stuff is watery and you have to use nearly half the bottle to get the effect that a couple of capfuls of the old Pine-Sol would've achieved. It's not very soapy or foamy, either. I cleaned up with it anyway, but it doesn't seem to do much, other than smell like old-fashioned Pine-Sol. So look, if you want to buy a bottle just to engage in a bit of olfactory nostalgia, go for it, but as an actual cleaning product, this stuff isn't worth the money. Skip it.

The stuff is strong, but it’s concentrated. You only need a small amount. It smells 10 times better than Pine-Sol. Please be careful around pets though.
