I bought this open box but it came new! I absolutely love it! From reading previous reviews, I knew it was pretty small and would not hold the regular sized cube baskets, but I did not care since I was buying it for toddler books. We have a 2 year old book lover and books were all over the house. Toddler book shelves could not hold all we have and our library still growing. This worked perfectly! I even happened to have 2 boxes that fit in the shelf like they were meant for it. The shelf was easy to assemble, took about half an hour for 1 adult and 1 toddler. It is very sturdy and solid. Since it is not big, it is pretty low and there is no tipping hazard. The stickers to cover screws are a joke so we did not use them. Other than this, very very happy with this purchase and would not hesitate to get another one if needed.

These were easy to put together and they look nice from a distance. They do the job. On close inspection they’re not very durable. While they have a good storage capacity I don’t think they’ll hold up to the weight of my books over time. I also dislike the visible screws. But, they’re working for me right now.

Small but practical, I wouldn’t say it’s for an adults room. More like for kids.

Very cute and fit perfectly between the foot of my bed and my computer desk, so it’s more for a snug space unless you have the room to keep it horizontal. I accidentally messed up with the directions (for part F, the backboard) so the cardboard kind of look is visible… it was also almost midnight when I was setting this up so that’s just my stupidity, lol. BUT!!! This is very stable and is my new bookshelf! It’s worth more than the price point. It doesn’t provide you with any materials to secure nails and screws, so be sure you have a screwdriver and hammer on hand! Once I got finished, it was sturdy and felt hardy. Highly recommend if you need a bookshelf or some extra storage and need something that isn’t too wide (unless you want it horizontal).

I purchased two of these (shown side by side in the photos). The only reason I purchased these shelves is because I wanted to put them in a closet that has a very narrow depth. It was difficult to find shelves this size as the standard depth for cubes is 11-12 inches. After looking through dozens online, I settled on these only because of the 9.4 inch depth which meant they would fit in the closet. That being said, the quality is very poor, particularly the finish. The first photo shows a scratch on one of the pieces right out of the box. Additionally each board comes with small stickers to identify them (A, B, C, D). When I removed the stickers at the end, they came off easily but took the thin white finish with them (as shown in photo #2). The shelves come with flimsy white stickers to cover all of the exposed screws. I didn't bother putting them on since I'm just using them in a closet to store things. The directions are lacking in detail, but it is relatively easy to put together. You just need to make sure that when putting it together you don't have any of the exposed edges of the panels (the edge without the white coating) facing forward where it can be seen at the end (instead face the exposed edge to the back or in a direction where it will meet another panel and not show (this wasn't explicit in the directions or illustrations). Also, one of the directions for the second screw/cam lock is a bit off in the diagram. It does not come with any "anti-tip" anchor to secure it to the wall (I would recommend buying one if you have children or live in an earthquake area). Overall assessment - very cheap product (far inferior to anything you would buy at IKEA or Staples), but sufficient if you need a shelf with a very narrow depth and don't mind a few imperfections here or there. If the depth of the product isn't an issue for you, I would purchase shelves/cubes from a different company.

Just what I needed…simple and functional, no frills. Only complaint is the stickers included to cover the screw heads/holes totally off color. It looks worse with them on and not easy to remove. Try one sticker before applying all!

You get what you pay for. The last step to assembly is nailing in the false back. I let my five year old tap in the nails and, sure enough, a chunk of the particle board just fell off. I probably shouldn't have expected much for something so cheap, but the hammering by a 35 lb kid was a surprise. Additionally, the screws provided are unsightly. They aren't flush with the boards and they're bronze colored on the white board. So they provide some small white stickers to cover the screws, but the stickers are as weak as the wood so those fell off after two minutes. Like I said... You get what you pay for.

RESISTENZA OLTRE LE ASPETTATIVE 📦 💧 Test del peso: Ho utilizzato i vani per riporre pacchi di bottiglie d'acqua. Nonostante il peso sia superiore alla portata nominale dichiarata per ogni singolo cubo (4,5kg), la struttura si sta comportando egregiamente, dimostrando una solidità inaspettata. 🧩 Modularità: Apprezzo moltissimo la possibilità di integrare altri moduli in futuro. L'idea di poter espandere la composizione in base alle necessità è un grande valore aggiunto. MONTAGGIO RAPIDO E SEMPLICE 🛠️ ⏱️ Zero stress: Per chi come me non ha molta pazienza con brugole e istruzioni infinite, questo prodotto è perfetto. Il montaggio è estremamente intuitivo e veloce, una vera rarità per mobili di questa fascia. CONSIDERAZIONI SULLE DIMENSIONI 📏 🔍 Un piccolo limite: Se devo trovare un difetto, avrei preferito che i singoli cubi fossero leggermente più larghi e alti. Lo scaffale risulta un po' basso rispetto alle mie necessità ideali, ma dopo lunghe ricerche in rete, questa è rimasta comunque la soluzione più valida e versatile disponibile. VERDETTO FINALE 💡 Un ottimo compromesso tra prezzo, facilità di montaggio e robustezza. Ideale per chi cerca un mobile "easy" che faccia il suo dovere senza troppi fronzoli.
