Some work some don`t
I have a few mini pc`s, so I bought a few of these cards.. Its very much hit and miss, some work some don`t.. I managed to get 3 that work and 4 I had to send back.. Quality controll is 0, One arrived so bent it was useless.. When they work they work well..

Doesn’t work for Oculink video card connections
I built an Oculink eGPU for use with my GPD Win Max 2 and thought it might be useful to have Oculink in a desktop as well. So I purchased one of these and tested with both my ancient i7-4790K box and current R5 5600X gaming PC. The card itself was detected but sadly neither PC detected the eGPU over Oculink. Tested with both Linux Mint 22.3 and Windows 11. The build quality is decent so this is probably a good card if you’re looking to add external NVME storage to a system that lacks USB3/4 or Thunderbolt.

If you know what you are doing is easy to setup if not look for a YouTube tutorial or on eGPU io for guidance but it is good
