The juice quality is great, but it can oxygenate your juice pretty well. I had apple juice turn slightly brown, but it did not oxidize enough to cause off flavors. In fact it oxygenated it just right, to make a perfectly fermenting Apple Cider. The coder fermented all sugar in the cider leaving a 12% ABV Apple Cider. Highest I have ever made. The noise is rather quite for a juicer. I was greatly surprises. Do not run this unit higher than 3. I typically run 1 or 2 when I am trying to get a heavy extraction from skin and pulp. This made an excellent dark blueberry juice that made an amazing blueberry wine. The one major drawback, however, is that it leaves a significant amount of pulp in the juice. There's no built-in way to filter it, so I have to manually strain every batch after juicing to get the smooth consistency I prefer. This extra step is a bit of a hassle and keeps me from giving it a higher rating.
