This light had been on my wish list for years, so I finally pulled the trigger(hahaha). It’s one of the few options that properly fits my XD40 Subcompact. I haven’t zeroed the laser yet, but the light is plenty bright for its size and battery type. Installation was straightforward using a clamshell design secured with three small hex screws (the same Allen key adjusts the laser). Batteries were included. The housing is sturdy polymer, the fit around the trigger guard is snug, and nothing feels loose. It extends flush to the end of the frame for a clean look. The buttons are firm—reachable even with large hands, though one-handed activation is a bit difficult. My only concerns are the very small mounting screws (easy to strip) and a slight gap between the shell halves near the lens. Price felt a little high, but given the custom fit and limited options for this firearm, the value is there.

Great value from reputable company. No over estimating on the lumen rating and no snake oil here, just a decent powered light and laser that's holds a zero like it belongs on a real firearm. There are some good generic lights/lazers but you won't go wrong with stream light.

I don't typically write reviews, but I was thoroughly impressed with the TLR-6. Once I had everything out of the box it literally took me about 60 seconds to install it and it fit my XD-9 like a glove. At 100 lumens the flashlight is adequate and the laser is nice and bright. I looked at a lot of products and nothing else came close for under $100. I also love that I can replace the batteries without having to take it apart like I do with my LaserMax. That said, the battery cover is a flexing metal clip that might be a little susceptible to being bent if you get too rough with it. Be gentle when changing batteries and it will be fine. Once installed I took it to the range and with a couple of quick tweaks it was dead on target. The TLR-6 won't light up a room like the $300-$400 combos, but then it doesn't cost $300-$400! It's a quality product that does exactly what I wanted it to and it didn't beat up my pocketbook.

For the price great little light/lazer. Installation very friendly, lazer sighting/adjustment very easy as well. Fitment/looks are fantastic. My only complaint is the Allen head screw to wrench fitment was somewhat sloppy, I am very familiar as a mechanic to evenly tightening screws for even torque, but one out of the 3 screws stripped right away before much torque was applied. That was disappointing it stripped before much tension was even on the screw, I have nonplans on taking the unit off but if I need to that will be a problem now. Other than that I really enjoy the product it is my 3rd one ive purchased .

The light and laser are sufficiently bright and the operation of the light is seamless. The various modes allow you to use it as a light, laser, or laser and light combo. I find it a tad difficult to use the light in momentary mode by holding the button, but tapping for it to stay on works well. Install was fairly straightforward and it fits my Springfield Armory XDM Elite v2 9mm perfectly. It is attached very sturdily and the small form factor of this light has little impact on the weight of the firearm. The form factor is small enough that even with a simple Bianchi Leather Strip Style Holster, the pistol fits comfortably and is still easily concealable. My biggest concern when buying a light for my pistol was small form factor. This light makes it seem like it is practically built-in. It reminds me of the built in lighting system on a Taser X26. I like that about it.
