I am Gundam.
Since this isn't a "transforming" mech (the flight mode is an alternate build, with instructions included), let's call it what it is: a fairly accurate brick-built version of the Barbatos Gundam from Iron Blooded Orphans. And I'm good with that!Building the set almost felt like doing a Lego MOC instead of working on a commercially-available set. A lot of the 900+ pieces are very small, with many variants of 1x1 and 1x2 bricks and tiles. A sometimes painstaking and occasionally unorthodox build results in a sleek, well-proportioned model that reflects the ninja-like warrior it's supposed to be. Little details like actuators at the joints indicate a level of care in its design. There are A LOT of stickers for all the markings, down to an approximation of a Gundam's mouthplate. They took some patience to line up properly for the right look, but they add a lot of character to the piece. Because of the tiny bricks and abundance of stickers, I don't think I'd recommend this for younger builders without adult supervision.Instructions are clear and easy to follow, with one catch. Once a step is finished, that assembly is shown in white in subsequent steps, regardless of colors of the pieces. This was a little confusing, and can also an issue when trying to figure out which piece fell off during construction... more on that later. The finished product is surprisingly well articulated. The head, arms, elbows, wrists, hips and ankles are all on ball joints. Knees bend 90 degrees and there's even some torso twist, leading to decent options for posing. It's too bad it doesn't come with a stand for "in-motion" poses. Its eyes are a bit of a letdown (there aren't any) and I thought the horns looked better repositioned to make a proper V-fin.One drawback is its fragility. To achieve the mech's streamlined look, several bricks are connected at only one point of attachment, and their fit isn't all that tight. A forearm popped off while moving the model for my pictures, and the tile "armor" pieces frequently shed while building and posing. There are NO spare parts, so you'll need to be extra careful that the carpet gremlins don't claim any of them.I'm not sure if I'll go through the trouble of taking the mech apart and building the flight mode, but it's interesting-looking and gives added value to the set.I'm definitely glad I came across this and purchased it. I've often wondered what a brick-built Gundam would look like, and it does appear to be at home on my shelf of actual gunpla! Anyone who enjoys building gunpla or Lego mechs should have a good time with this one.

It’s a lego Gundam
The quality of this third party brick kit is excellent. I actually bought the other two kits mid way through building this one. The pieces are solid and the entire kit felt great to build. The pieces themselves feel great and not cheap.I included pictures for size comparison and Barbatos look comparison. There’s no PG Barb that I’m aware of so I took one of my other PGs for sizing. This kit is between a PG and MG Gunpla model for sizing. It also looks similar to the real Barb which is great!Weak points are its waist. Watch out while posing. The two pieces that connect its legs to its chest pop off rather easily but if left alone the unit stands tall without wavering. The joints are not loose at all so it’s only an issue when moving it around. Unfortunately, that means it would not be great to play with.I was only missing one piece which I was able to use a real Lego piece for.The instructions reminded me of Gunpla instructions more then Lego instructions. They might be harder to understand at first but they just have more pictures on a single page than Lego typically does. They also have some steps that look like they should be two steps due to the pieces you have to put on before putting some on top of the ones you just put on.It was a lot of fun to build and highly recommend getting it if you are a fan of building brick like mechs or Gundam.

Great Quality and Fun to Build!
My son loves building blocks, and he really enjoyed this set! It wasn’t too hard for him to build, and it kept him engaged the whole time. The blocks were high quality, fit together well, and felt very sturdy. We were both impressed, and he’s already asking for more sets. Highly recommend for any young builder!

Overall a good set.
Good overall build. Clear instructions. Odd packaging. But the loss of the star was really because sometimes the pieces didn't fit together well enough to support the weight. I used superglue, which didn't bother me enough to go less than 4 stars.

A Great Primer to Gun-pla
Above and beyond what I expected! The quality was amazing! Every snapped together perfectly and the instructions all made perfect sense. As a childhood Gunpla enthusiast that stopped after getting married and having kids, this helped scratch that old itch while having something fun to do with my son over a couple of days.

Fun to put together but fragile 🤓
We bought this toy for my son to put together along with my husband. There are definitely a lot of intricate parts to put together, but it was cool. Seeing them both sit together at the table while assembling this toy. Actually, I should call it a model figure I guess. However, this model figure is very delicate, or maybe I should say fragile. Once it’s assembled, please make sure you keep it on a shelf somewhere away from kids. I knew this was not a toy like a transformer that you could play with. However, this model figure is very fragile meaning you tap it and something could fall off. I still think it was worth the investment though since my son and husband had a great time building it together.

Disappointing!!!
I bought this in October and gave it as a Christmas gift and parts are breaking or are broken. A piece actually broke off inside another piece so it's trash at this point. Very disappointing.
