I purchased these for my chicken feed. They work great! The whole feed bag fits in there and they are easy to move. They come with a locking lid and scoop which is helpful. The bugs don't get in there and the size is perfect. They are durable plastic and easy to access. I do not stack them as they have wheels that I need. Keeps the feed fresh. They look nice and I am a happy customer.

Quality containers and great price for the two pack. Easy to assemble. Lids stay firmly closed and the wheels make them very easy to move around as needed.

IRIS 50 lbs. Dog Food Storage Containers - 2 pack First it is a sturdy container. Definitely will give it that. My frustration came when I tried many times to attach the lid. Finally in searching other reviews I came across one with the same issue and explained best they could how to attach it. I was so extremely grateful! You have to hold the lid in a straight upright position with the long base of the lid’s extended bottom behind the container’s rim and the hinge attachments in line. Still kind of hard to explain. Then with the two in line I gently pushed down to lock them in. Oh my! Finally the hinge lock went around the pegs and locked in even only with a gentle push. It’s no wonder the manufacturer didn’t include instructions. Not easy to explain. Ok so got them locked in place and the lid would lock perfectly. However, the second issue was the lid when trying to put it in the upright position the the lid would fall back to the closed position and you would have to have someone hold the lid upright to fill it. Ok bingo! I used a 40” tie down ( bungee cord) attached that to the top rim of the lid to the bottom of the container and lid stayed open. This worked excellent for me. Should not have to do this but it worked for me. The wheels were easy to insert and appreciate having them. All in all it is a great container but dealing with the above were/are frustrating. Hope I am helping anyone who had/have the same issues as me.

I bought this set to store dog food in one and chicken feed in the other, and they have been a great practical solution for both. For the value, this set is hard to beat. Two sturdy, functional bins at a price that makes sense. They hold almost a full 40 pound bag of food. The food stays fresh and sealed when the lid is on, which is ultimately the most important job. Ease of use is straightforward. They are easy to clean and the wheels are a nice touch, though I personally haven’t had much need to roll them around. Sturdiness is solid with no issues there. My one gripe is the lids. They attach on a hinge that is loose and don’t snap or lock into place, so they often fall off when opening. It’s a minor inconvenience but worth knowing. When the lid is down however it seals perfectly and does its job well. A practical, good value set that gets the job done. I would purchase again.

1 Star — One Container Does Not Close Properly I purchased this two-piece set of dog food storage containers with the intention of using one for my kitten’s food and the other for kitty litter. I really liked the idea of having two matching containers, and aesthetically, they look very nice sitting side by side. Unfortunately, I’m disappointed with the quality and consistency of the two containers. One of the two containers has a very difficult time closing properly. You have to apply quite a bit of pressure to get the lid to close, which should not be necessary for a storage container that is supposed to seal securely. After looking at the lid, I believe the issue may be related to the styrofoam-like material lining the inside of the lid. It seems to make the lid fit much tighter than it should and prevents it from closing easily. I have to really push down on it to get it to latch, and it is frustrating to have to fight with the lid every time I use it. This is especially problematic if you have arthritis in your hands or wrists. Applying that much pressure to get the lid closed can be genuinely difficult and uncomfortable. A storage container shouldn’t require that much hand strength just to secure the lid. I shouldn’t have to struggle with it every time I need to open and close the container. What makes this even more disappointing is that the other container works perfectly. The second one closes easily and seals the way I expected both containers to. Because one works so well, I know the problem isn’t simply that the design requires a lot of pressure to close. It seems like there is an issue with the particular lid or the material inside it. For now, I decided to use the container that is difficult to close for kitty litter and the container that seals properly for my kitten’s food. I definitely feel more comfortable using the properly sealing container for food, while the other one is fine for storing litter. I will say that I really like how the two containers look together. They are attractive, match nicely, and look organized sitting side by side. Unfortunately, appearance alone isn’t enough when the basic function of one of the containers doesn’t work properly. Overall, I’m giving this 1 star because I purchased a two-piece set expecting both containers to function correctly, and only one of them does. If both lids closed and sealed as easily as the good one does, I would have been very happy with this purchase. Unfortunately, having one container that requires excessive pressure just to close makes me question the quality control of the set. It’s particularly frustrating when that extra pressure can make the container difficult or painful to use for someone with arthritis in their hands or wrists.

I’ve been using these containers for a while now and overall it’s convenient for organizing pet food. The size is great, the wheels make it easy to move around, and the clear design helps me quickly see how much food is left. It’s also very easy to open and close, which makes daily scooping simple and hassle-free. The container itself feels fine for basic storage and does help keep things more organized than leaving food in its original bag. However, one big drawback is the lid. It doesn’t actually click into place on the container, so it feels a bit flimsy and not very secure. It’s very easy to pull off and it’s also very easy to open. Because of how easily it opens, I also wouldn’t recommend it for households with small kids, since it wouldn’t be difficult for them to get into. Overall, it’s useful for simple storage and convenience, but the lid design makes it feel less secure than expected.

Very good quality containers. Seems like it does airtight. Great for storing rice or flour too.
