XFORT Digital Door Lock - Matt Black, Keypad Combination Lock with Optional Hold Back Function

The XFORT Digital Door Lock has been a great addition to my garage door! While the installation was a bit of a puzzle (the instructions could definitely be clearer), I’m very pleased with the quality and performance so far. It’s sturdy, reliable, and gives me peace of mind knowing my garage is secure. Once I figured out the setup, it’s been smooth sailing. Overall, a solid keypad lock that’s worth the effort!

I purchased this lock to allow me to open my back garden gate from the outside, without worrying about keys. It fills that need perfectly. The lock itself is easy to install but, the instructions themselves aren't great. Be sure to read them twice, before you try offering up the lock to the door & frame. Important to have the right size spade bits before starting the job. The lock itself is good quality and whilst it's early days, it should stand up well to the Irish weather.

Works and quite cheap, gets bit stuck sometimes but for what you pay say it was worth it

Good DIY skills needed to fit this, careful drilling and correct type of drill bits and chisels etc. However, lock itself is working absolutely fine, only been in a couple of weeks, but instructions are good, so you shouldn't have trouble with it. Do make sure the long flat bade which goes through the door and engages both handles is inserted in the correct way through the latch mechanism, which is got wrong once and the lock wouldn't work (obviously) but read and follow the instructions and you should be fine.

Quality is ok, but fundamentally, these are hackable. I replaced it with a digital version. Installation was simple enough and operation reliable.

DONT BUY To change the lock code is a nightmare and the item didn't work with code sent with it or the new lock code I chose. To change the code you have to pull out these gold tabs and they have to be put in so precisely all while holding C.... this is no mean feat, especially with arthritis, and I tried this for hours, to no avail. None of coded lock codes worked. It also seems this way of changing the code is outdated. I returned. Instructions are also not easy to follow

with fit lots of different push locks and this one seems to be perfectly fine and as good as the rest. A nice black finish too. The customer is happy as well, which at the end of the day is the important factor.
