Super easy installation and very comfortable. Very sturdy construction of durable aluminum. These look like they belong on the bike and fold away so you can barely notice them. I really don't like the way most pegs look on Goldwings. These look like they belong on the bike. I read many reviews about this item before I bought them, and the only thing I read against them was that they could damage the valve cover if you lay the bike down. This could happen in an accident, which if in in an accident your last concern would be your valve covers, but it could also happen if you drop the bike. Since I usually only use these on long rides, I have just made it a habit to ALWAYS put them in after I use them. If I am getting off the freeway and have to downshift, I put them in their retracted position. If I am doing anything that doesn't involve emergency braking, I just put them in the retracted position. I figure if I make that a habit now, I won't be in the position of dropping the bike with them out. A little pricey but well worth it in my opinion. Review: The best. - I tried the Kuryakyn ergo 3 pegs before these and sent them back. The Kurys felt like a cheap pot metal and had problems out of the box. Not to mention they're more likely to hit the pavement in a corner. I was not a fan. Ordered these, and the fit an finish are amazing, you can tell you're holding a quality piece of cnc made aluminum. Only took me 10 min to install. I'm 6'1' tall with a 32" inseam. I'm running a Corbin seat that sits you back 2" further than stock (or so I've read) I have the pegs mounted in the farthest forward position and it is comfortable as heck. Also after doing some research, these are generation 2 models, and they are designed to break off in a tip over, so you shouldn't have to worry about your valve cover getting broke. They are almost unnoticeable if not being used which is the look I was going for.
