Good seller/good product
Just bought a Plugable 3900H docking station. I stuggled for 2 weeks trying to buy and install the right Thunderbolt dock, only to find out that my laptop (Pavilion) is not compatible.First, the pre-purchase technical support that I got (from Sam) at Plugable was prompt, thorough, and accurate. He understood what equipment I have and what I was trying to do. Then he recommended the right product, which I ordered and received in 1 day - at a very fair price. The installation instructions and the downloads were clear and doable, even for me. The system now works exactly as I had hoped.

Seamless integration
Worked with all of my devices, dvi-> VGA, bought a hdmi->dvi adapter, so I have three monitors, including my laptop. Have to download a displayport driver, but that was easy. There was already one on the laptop, so I don't even know if it was necessary.

Works great; just know that it may not be a work-from-home solution.
This laptop dock does indeed support 2 monitors and it does function. I've had for about a week now and it doesn't give me too much trouble when plugging in my and my wife's laptop. It's as plug-and-go as I could expect. It's a bit pricey, but there isn't much competition on Amazon for a product like this, at least not something that can do at least 2 monitors that doesn't cost $200.It does require that you download the software from their website in order for this to function properly, so think very carefully if you plan on using this for work. You may have to confirm with IT at you job location to see if they would allow you to install the drivers for this to function.

Easy peasy lemon squeezy MacBook Pro M1 dual monitor solution
Quickly discovered how impossible it was to utilize two monitors independently on an "older" MacBook Pro. Utilized everything I have hooked up and working with a HP laptop in a variety of different configurations with no luck. Did a bunch of research online both written and videos to discover I wasn't alone in this frustrating situation. Many options out there to get the job done but this was one of the most effective and inexpensive. There are tutorials on product web page if you need them but everything is pretty straightforward and hassle free.

Works great
Works so well that I ordered a second one for another work station. Give you 3 monitors if you include the laptop.

Great Device and Great Customer Service
Device was working great and then suddenly stopped working. Pluggable was quick to diagnose and resolve the issue. Communicating with customer service was easy, they were friendly, prompt and fixed the problem without any hesitation. Their customer service was wonderful and is the reason I will buy all future devices from them. They have shown that they were a great company who cares about their products and their customers. Device itself is fantastic and does exactly what it is advertised to do. Also super easy set up.

Pushing Beyond the Standard
Having experienced many positives and only one negative, I am EXTREMELY satisfied with this product. I am likely not using this device as it's original intention, but even still it holds up strong. The doc I purchased was set for a dual monitor system using the USB-C port on my laptop (which is an older model designed only to transmit data and charge small electronics) making it possible for me to have two separate monitors plus my laptops native display through 1 connection. However, I currently have it setup working on my native laptop screen, 2 LG monitors, 1 small 28" Insignia TV, and 1 Large 60" VIZIO TV. So 5 Total Monitors on Extend Desktop making up 1 HELL OF A LARGE DESKTOP!!!I did this by simply connecting my 2 primary monitors up through the plugables display ports and then connecting the two TV's to the native VGA and HDMI ports on my laptop. So now I have plenty of room for those boring Zoom meetings to display while continuing to get work done and not worry about missing anything. My ONLY CON that I have experienced so far is that the plugable does not come with bluetooth function and turns the audio card off on my computer, disabling the native bluetooth radio button on my computer. However, this was somewhat easy enough to work around by disabling the audio control of the plugable in the device manager.Again, as I mentioned initially, I may not be using this device as its original intention, but I AM VERY HAPPY with having increased my USB drives from 1 to 7, and with increasing my monitors from 1 (with 2 additional monitors and wires running everywhere) to 5 fully active monitors WITHOUT the need of a peski HDMI switch or spending hundreds of dollars on additional equipment. If you're a "crazyhead", like I am, that wants completely unnecessary capabilities, look no further. If you have the know-how, this inexpensive device has the means.
