Ok, this is my new favorite! I prepared as directed on the box, but I doctored this a little bit. While cooking the meat I added garlic powder, onion powder, dehydrated dices onions, dash of salt, and a generous amount of black pepper. Cooked it all up and drained the fat. I then added fresh sliced white mushrooms to the mix and cooked the meat with the mushrooms a little longer, just until the mushrooms started to change color. I then added the wet ingredients, but I replaced a little bit of the water with Worcestershire sauce, about 1/8 cup, for some added depth. I then added the pasta and sauce packet to the meat mixture and cooked this all together until pasta was just al dente. It was absolutely DELICIOUS! Creamy and full of rich flavor! I just bought more boxes to have this on hand! Try my ingredient hack for this dish! You will not be sorry you did! You can decide how much extra spices you want to add to the mix to suit your taste. A teaspoon to a tablespoon of garlic powder, black pepper, and onion powder, about 1/4 cup of dehydrated onion, and just small amount of salt as cream sauce packet contains sodium already. You could also dice up some fresh white onion and cook with the mushrooms and meat mix instead of using onion powder, and you could also use fresh garlic in place of garlic powder while cooking the meat. Your choice! :)

As long as you have milk, water, and a pound of ground meat this is a good meal to have in stock if you have children and summer feels too expensive and you don't want to be in the kitchen for hours. Taste depends on the ground meat you get and how you season it if you only use the packet seasoning. It also depends on how good of a cook you are or how well you follow instructions.
