Amazing sound, long play and lightweight wear open-ear headphones
The TRUEFREEE O1 Open Ear Headphones have amazing sound, long play and lightweight wear. I just got these and have been wearing them all day for the last week! They are light and easy to wear all day, they sound amazing, the continuous play lasts a LONG time, and the APP actually gives you useful options! I have many in-ear, over-the-ear and open-ear headphones. I like to sometimes have open-ear headphones so I can hear what is happening around me. I wanted a pair with longer play time than my 3-6 hour pair, and I wanted great sound. I read someone saying these had great sound and so here I am! The case is about 2.75” wide x 3.5” long x 1.25” thick. It is currently the largest case for any headphones I own…like a thick deck of cards. You get ~3 recharges off the case! The case recharges pretty quickly using USB-C (a separate 3” cable comes with the case). I opened the case and was greeted by three dots on the case indicating a full charge on the case, and each headphone had a tiny light. I pulled out the headphones and removed the protective tape on the charge ports and put them back in, in case they needed to charge. When I was ready to use them, I put them on and was very surprised how light and imperceptible they were to wear. I simply do not or barely feel that they are on. Beyond being comfortable, they are the lightest presence I have experienced in an over-the-ear headphone. I was not even sure if I had them on right the first time. But the left and right are clearly marked in the case and on each earphone. They easily synced with my phone, I did what I needed to do and then quickly synced them with my computer to watch a film. First, the music and sound quality is AMAZING. Not amazing for an open-ear headphone, but just amazing. Still, I could hear ambient noises, so wearing this while running water for dishes or vacuuming made them harder to hear. Volume is STRONG! So, I am happy at 20- 30% and have room to spare if surrounding sounds get louder. I think my first use of these lasted close to 11 or 12 hours before I was warned that the power was low! That is exactly what I was hoping for! As with most other headphones, they can pair to multiple devices and the one with sound takes over. In my case, the computer will override the phone. If I turn off “dual device connection” in the app, then it will only connect to one at a time. Which I find I prefer. I am also super happy that these are splash resistant. They are IPX4 (meaning that they are rated to offer protection against splashes of water) making them suitable for workouts, bathing, jacuzzi, or light rain. I am VERY happy with these and highly recommend them! Now, about the APP (See the photos): You do not need the app for normal headphone use. But the app allows you to see headphone specific charge state, personalize the EQ, personalize settings, etc. Also, FYI, when you open the APP it creates a new instance for itself in your Bluetooth settings (TRUEFREE O1_B…”), close the APP and that goes away. Occasionally, when I open the APP it has trouble identifying the headphones. I have not solved why yet. But the APP allows sending issues to tech support (under Help and Feedback) and also Firmware updates (in settings), so these little things may get addressed. It honestly took me 15 tries to get signed in to the app the first time and I know I am not alone, as others have asked what they are doing wrong in Amazon Questions. Once you get signed in the first time, you don’t need to do it again. Watch the video in Amazon Qs on how to get to the register screen. I think after selecting accept, I clicked “forgot” at the bottom and that is where the register option is. Enter email, enter a “letter only” password, click to get your code sent to your email. Enter the code, view the terms again and click Register. Try again if it does nothing. It will work after a few tries. The APP lets you see the charge level of each earphone (See Photo). Which I find useful sometimes when deciding if I should charge them and use a different pair when planning on doing some things. The APP offers many preset EQ to select from as well as offering a customizable and savable EQ option (See Photos). This makes me VERY happy, and I have been refining my own custom settings to suit my hearing! I love that I can DISABLE ALL TOUCH CONTROLS here (See Photo)! I have longer hair and, when wet, I accidentally stopped play or turned sound up or down. Disabling touch on demand is the solution. You can also toggle game mode and dual device connection in the APP (See Photo). There is also a place to customize the touch settings, but I have not used this yet. There is also a hearing test. This is very cool as it tests your hearing sensitivity across a spectrum of sound frequency types to personalize the EQ. I would love to learn more about the tweaks made based on my weird hearing! Additionally, under settings there is a library of relaxing sounds: “Relaxation Music Hall” (See Photo). These are actually quite nice recordings and I have used them to block out other sounds and even to fall asleep when my tinnitus was bugging me! They include a stream, rain, fireworks, walking on grass, birds, electro-pop dance tune, sheep, crickets, frogs, ocean, tennis, wind chimes, beeping and clock ticks, and a windy day with occasional far off dog barks.

Great Sound and Comfortable Fit
This is my second pair of "open-ear" earphones. The Truefree O1 Open Ear Headphones are so much more comfortable than traditional earbud models. They provide excellent sound and allow for ongoing awareness of your surroundings --which may make you safer in some settings (walking on a public sidewalk, crossing a street, or cycling). I find some traditional earbuds uncomfortable, even slightly painful. The open-ear style is very comfortable. I'm able to listen for hours without getting a sore ear canal. The Truefree O1 earphones also stay put during activity --exercising or working around the house. They don't fall out like regular earbuds. There is no sacrifice to sound quality. Excellent rich and immersive bass and treble. I can't detect any decline in the quality of the listening experience, having the speaker lying over my ear vs. having the speaker inside my ear canal. The Bluetooth paired instantly and automatically on these Truefree O1 Open Ear Headphones. I've used these for hours and found battery life to be excellent. The charging/carrying case is built well, compact, and convenient. The overall build quality of the earphones is great --they feel sturdy. The noise canceling function works extremely well on phone calls and video calls. Background noise is nicely filtered out on calls. You will not be disappointed with these Truefree 01 Open Ear Headphones!

A Bearded Review - Truefree O1 Open Ear Headphones
As with any set of audio products, audio quality is one of the most important considerations. For the most part, everything else is secondary or at close to equal value depending on your preference. With that, here is my review of the Truefree O1 Open Ear Headphones. In the Hands and on the Ears The case is rather large, but light. Considering the size of the headphones themselves, this is expected. Allowing another of a smaller stature to use them, they liked that these would be easy to find in their small backpack or purse. When I tried them on, for someone with medium-sized ears, they fit snug and do not move if I jerk my head around. These sit around the ear lobe and over your ear canal (not in it). This provides a unique listening experience in that you can hear both what is being projected through the speakers as well as the sounds around you. Placing these on the smaller stature person with smaller ears, these were still comfortable and did not manage to come lose when jerking around. My only worry is if someone with large ears were to keep these on for an extended period of time would feel a little worn out after a while. Build Quality These ear phones are pretty solid. Their ends are plastic and the part connecting the ends is like silicon and adjusts with the size of the ears pretty easily. The case seems to be a thin plastic, however. I worry that it might not stand up to a lot of wear and tear if stored in a more open environment for a long period of time. As long as you keep track of them and secure them properly, the ear phones and the case should last for a long time. Audio Quality These use the LDAC HD Audio codec for high definition audio. Otherwise, these will connect to AAC and SBC. LDAC is a great codec if you want clear audio from your music and other higher definition audio sources. The caveat to this codec is the latency. In my testing I was seeing latency around 200-250ms. This means that if you are playing a game or watching videos, you will see roughly a 1/4 second delay from when actions happen or when people speak. I saw this with Diablo Immortal as well as on Youtube. With Game Mode on, the latency was slightly better, maybe 150ms, but it was still noticeable. Call Quality Calling with these was a breeze. I could clearly hear the other person and they informed they could hear me clearly. This worked in both in a loud and a quiet environment. Touch Controls and Software In my experience with the Truefree Android software running on Android 14, the controls worked, however they seemed delayed. Single tapping to increase or decrease volume worked ok, but the double tap to play and pause seemed to have a longer delay. I believe it might have to do with the audible prompts when you double tap. This happened with each double tap. The software… seems thrown together, to be frank. There are several inconsistencies with the language. For instance some parts say "click" and others "blows". Some wording is capitalized and others not. When I tried to configure the ear phones tap actions, they stayed with the defaults. None of the customized taps seemed to save. The EQ settings appeared to work well enough. The Adaptive setting was interesting. At first it appeared to not work, then I realized it was testing for each of the tones to see what you could, or could not hear. After tapping for each one I did hear, it created an EQ profile for me. Personally, I kept with my custom "V" EQ setting. Conclusion Overall, these are pretty good. The comfort of the set along with the LDAC audio is a good combination, so as long as latency isn't a concern. Listening to audiobooks, music, and other non-video or game media works out great for these. If you can get around the software caveats, this is a good set for your workout or walk in the park.

Great open ear headphones for moderate activity
Let me start off by saying if you want to block out the world and any sounds that aren’t your music, these might not be the headphones for you. That aside if you’re looking for a long lasting charge, great sounding and affordable open ear headphones this is for you. What is an open ear headphone, you ask? An open ear headphone allows you to listen to your music while also remaining aware of the sounds in the environment around you. Headphones like these fit around your ear and do not go directly into your ear canal. I personally have been a recent convert to open ear styles just for safety awareness and ease of cleaning the individual earphones. The Truefree O1’s have a lot of great features that make it my standby for desk work, exercise and dance. The battery life is phenomenal. With a 10 hour playtime and 45 hours total with a fully charged case, you won’t be reaching for the charge cable everyday. These came fully charged for me and I’ve used them for 3 days and the case still has about 50% charge left. They are surprisingly light and fit comfortably around the ear. I have smaller rounder ears so the fit may vary. The cuff portion that hugs the upper part of the ear is bendy and can probably accommodate different sizes without an irritation. I expected these to feel heavy on my ear considering their size but was pleasantly surprised at how light they were and how I even forgot they were on my ear. The dual mic active noise cancelling feature allows more uninterrupted sound. This feature surprised me the most in that it helps block out louder sounds. Again, you will still hear sounds but it’s dampened enough that it won’t affect the listening experience. It’s a great feature that I think helps people from listening to their music too loud. The sound is clear and immersive. I am not a audio expert but have a trained ear due to being a musician. These headphones are balanced well and the distinctions between the highs, mid and low are obvious without being static. The low end (bass) might seem a little soft due to the open ear style but it’s not a deal breaker. I love to dance in these headphones because they feel secure enough that they won’t fly off and that the open ear style is close to how I would hear music pouring out of speakers in a club/venue type setting. Body weight and weighted workouts work well with these headphones. I’m not a runner but my guess is that the noise cancelling feature will help block the sounds of wind. All this in mind, I would like to point out the price point. These headphones are at a competitive mid range price point that make them reasonable investment. If you want to try out an open ear style, for the price alone this is worth trying something new.

Good for Listening, Not so Great for Communication
I bought these on the recommendation of a friend who wears them while doing online sales presentations and I was specifically looking for earbuds with a microphone better than my Airpods. When I got them I was pleasantly pleased with the sound quality, but the microphone was disappointing. My friend bought hers over a year ago, so maybe build quality has changed since then PROS Lightweight and comfortable. Good battery life. Very good audio quality while still able to hear enough ambient noise to be aware of your surroundings (good for taking walks, doing yard work, chores around the house, etc.) CONS Poor microphone quality - Excessive wind noise when walking outside (even with no breeze). Sensitivity issues (picking up the sound of me typing on a keyboard and my footsteps one minute, muffling my voice the next). Also had intermittent feedback and echoes. Steps suggested by Support did not resolve. BOTTOM LINE For the price they are above-average Bluetooth audio headphones. I'll probably keep them for streaming audio and gaming, but they are not suitable for voice recording or communication in anything but a stationery, indoor environment with no ambient noise.

Well worth the price
These headphones are well worth their cost. These are admittedly the only pair of open ear headphones that I currently own (though I own many pairs of different types and brands), but I am also aware of the price of most big name brands of open ear headphones on the market and these are significantly cheaper than most of what you'll find out there. Now that being the case I don't think you should be expecting the sound quality to be equal to that of say a $300 pair, but for the price they hold their own. The sound quality is not amazing, but it's pretty good and the bass is decent (better than I expected). Also, though I presume this is the case more or less for all open ear headphones, I find the way they sit on your ear to be very comfortable. They don't lead to discomfort with prolonged use in the same way that earbuds do or even over the ear studio headphones. I have yet to find myself aching to take a break from them. Though to be fair I haven't worn them for more than 4 hours in a single sitting yet. I think the other qualities of the headphones is where they really hold their weight. I haven't been able to test the 10 hour battery life yet, but I have yet to have the headphones die on me with many uses of 1-5ish hours at a time and I have yet to charge the case since purchasing. The battery of the case itself is impressive. It automatically charges the headphones when they are placed inside and they fit quite nicely into their individual spots with a magnetic hold that keeps them firm in place so they don't move around. The case itself doesn't scream high quality, but it also doesn't feel low quality. The headphones have touch functions that are fairly standard, but I find the sensitivity of the touch functions to be in the Goldilocks zone. On many headphones the touch can be way too sensitive and doing something as simple as adjusting the headphone can trigger a function like skipping a song which can be quite frustrating. At the same time if a touch isn't sensitive enough it can be almost as equally frustrating so I appreciate the balance with these. In terms of connectivity, the description I think undersells the headphones' capability. It claims a range of 10m, but I put them to the test and they can definitely exceed 10 meters and handle barriers such as walls and floors (and even a combination of both) without issue. They connect to my phone automatically (after the initial set up) when I take them out of the case and without much delay which gives them a nice ease of use. And finally, they do a pretty good job with phone calls as well. The mics have pretty good sound quality and pick up your voice well and the noise cancelling does a pretty good job of filtering out background noises when you're talking. Overall, if you're looking for a pair of over the ear headphones, but don't want to break the bank, I think these are an excellent choice. They're a solid bang for your buck.

If looks win the day, these are winners, unfortunately if it's volume you seek avert your ears.
This is the second time I've received buds that have a protective film over the charging contacts, but these guys call it out. Looks - they are clean. Fit - I've got satellite dishes for ears, and they are unobtrusive. Touch function - The instructions do not call out the touch area, and finding it while over your ears (for me) was impossible. Sound - Very clear (once you turn your BT sound device all the way up (S23+ for me). I gave sound quality 3 stars because once I had my phone at 90% the sound was good. Volume - HORRIBLE. I started picking up a faint volume around 50% of of my phones output. At 80% you could hear the music, but not over other noises. With my volume set one up click from 100% I was able to listen to music at a comfortable level. At 100% it was on the edge of being what most would consider the bottom range of loud (and I mean the very bottom). Instructions - Also bad. A pictogram that shows touch functions, and the images are almost impossible to make out. The box was nice, and the case is on the larger size, considering the size of the buds, it is acceptable. I plugged the case into a USB-C and nothing. No lights, no indication of a charge, nothing. So I unplugged and plugged my phone in and instantly the charging indicator flashed on screen. So I plugged the case in again thinking it was a fluke. NOPE. After I had removed the contact film and let them set in the case for a few minutes I got three very faint lights on the front. So I plugged the USB-C cable back in an there was no visual recognition it was plugged in. If I had received the 90% volume at 50% of my phones output, these would have been a winner. But operating with a 10% volume variance is completely unacceptable, so they are heading back.

Earbuds designed to give users studio quality sound
With vast numbers of audio listening devices to choose from, cheap to WOW really expensive, from high end over-the-ears noise canceling headphones to earbuds that you stick in your ear, tickling your ear drums, causing periodic sore spots from improper fitting ear tips that on occasions get stuck in your ear. The quality of sound depends the on engineering and usually means higher prices. I needed to replace my earbuds I use everyday. Their battery life was unbelievable. I would wear one at a time listening to my music or a book. I kept one ear open so I didn’t miss what my wife said. I went through 2 of these. When my second pair died and I tried to order another one only to find they no longer being made. So I began my search looking for a replacement that provided me with what I had grown accustomed to. I found a new style of earbud that said it was different from others, it didn’t fit in your ear it set outside of your ear. This earbud was designed to sit over your ear, with nothing stuck in your ear. A soft rubber piece fits behind your ear holding, what resembles a miniature speaker. When you put them on you have two powerful speakers providing an unbelievable quality of sound with sound separation only found in studio equipment. The Truefree 01 has an unbelievably strong battery life. Depending on how loud you rock out to your music you can get 8 to 10 hours on one charge. When the little lady tells you “power is low”, place them in your case for 30 to 40 minutes, for another 8 to 10 hours of continuous play. When I use one earpiece at a time I get a full 12 hours of use. There is only one negative about these headphones. The wrap around pieces are not adjustable. When working in my shop, when I get hot and sweaty, I have a little difficulty keeping them on, but it’s not that way for everyone. The TrueFree 01 headphone or earbud device is a remarkable advancement in listening pleasure. You will likely see more companies producing headphones similar to this. There is something else you get when you purchase a pair of these headphones, Customer Support. This company stands behind what they say about helping you with any issues you might have. I can honestly say this has not been a norm with other companies I’ve purchased items from. Not with those company. You cannot go wrong purchasing a pair of these TrueFree01 headphone/earbuds.

Consigliatissime! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Surprisingly good
I was afraid to try the design but it was surprisingly good, now i wonder why i havent seen other brand do similar product like this. it also has a very clear mic and talk even in a busy area thanks to its ENC capability. It has also a great stereo sound and really comfortable for long hour calls and music. cons: has a huge case(like twice the size of a normal buds) although its not an issue for me since i mostly used it with my runs and walk, with its big battery capacity i dont need to bring my case with me.
