Great bang for the buck
Initially bought a pair as monitor wedges in my function band but found them very useful for ceremonies and background duo work. Db have always been a reliable and solidly built brand and these didn’t disappoint. Work great for guitarists wanting an alternative to FRFR cabs too. Only observation is they could do with a steeper tilt angle for use as monitors on cramped stages but the dispersion more than makes up for that.

It’s more for background rather than deep heavy use
I have to say I was expecting much more from this well known brand but up against My QSC K 8 it simply is just for background use only I would not dare put it through a tough test but would say it is a good speaker but for less stressful background applications maybe one day I will put it to the real test but it does heat up and the peak light comes up quick so I’d rather use it for light background and speeches I would only give this 3 out of 5 as I do not believe I could rely on this as a main speaker yes the top end dnb would work but this lower end model I would not push hard I am going to look at more you tube reviews and maybe do my own YouTube review on this speaker ...

Great sound and performance for the price.
D&B is a high end manufacturer for live sound in theatres / stadiums etc so I was expecting a good sound. This speaker was purchased for use by me as a small monitor for both DJ use and as a reference monitor for live sound mixing. It's perfect for this, and I think with 2 of these and 2 subwoofers you could use these speakers as the main PA system for small parties. It's more than loud enough when I use it on stage, and it sounds great, but don't expect to be blown away by the volume as it's a small 130w speaker, and has an 8 inch driver, so with the size of it it's physically impossible to get decent bass, but for small installations and monitor use, as I bought it for, I highly recommend it and I am looking to get a couple more for on stage monitors (though perhaps the B-Hype 10) All in all, for the price it's highly recommended, ridiculously lightweight and easy to transport and sounds great at medium volumes. I haven't pushed it too hard as it's only a small speaker but it copes well with use as a stage monitor at gig volumes.
