Noone really wants to use poison of any kind on any kind of animal. But you have to attack a rat issue instantly before they get settled and do all kinds of damage. Poison is the best way to do this. I had rats in my attic last winter and again this winter. I used this last year so got some more to deal with the new problem. You could hear them knocking and running about up there! But within a few days of using this, no more noise and the poison I've now left in the attic hasn't been touched. It's hard to know if a poison has really worked or not but the rats appear to have gone, so I guess it worked amazingly well! Remember to address the problem instantly you first notice any rat issue. It also needs to be left a few days. They don't die the instant they sniff it! They're meant to take some back to the nest so it wipes them all out. The sachets are easy to administer. Just be aware that if used outdoors you are required to use a tamper proof box to prevent access by unintended hands/paws/beaks. Overall, appears to have brutally and quickly dealt with the problem but I keep some ready just in case they come back.

Extremely happy with dispatch time and the company, i followed the instructions to the full and used bait boxes (unlike someone else in another review that didn’t and probably killed a family pet or other wild life!) A lot of Rats , they were slow to take the bait at first but this was more than likely because they still had other food sources , but when they started taking it they really went for it and I was laying a lot down daily ... I am now confident the problem has been eradicated , ..... worth noting I allso put grain bait in the boxes and it was hardly touched so highly recommend the pasta bait as first choice , it’s easy to handle and most of all it’s killed the rats .. I’m not big on having to resort to these sort of methods , it’s nice to be confident that a product is going to be fully effective and I would be confident in using this pasta bait again .

I have now been using these for a week and the poison kept going. I started to have my doubts it was working when yesterday I found a dead rat in our shed. Its the only one I've found so far. I've ordered more to keep poisoning, as I don't think he's alone. We have a chicken coop so unfortunately they've come for that. I did have pretty bad house keeping which I've improved, but they keep coming 😔 this product clearly works but I don't know if it will be able to finish the job.

Rats love this stuff. I tend to get nests in my dry stone wall in the autumn, this year we have been plagued by 2 separate nests in the wall breaking into food bins and stealing eggs from my chickens. Within 3 nights all were dead. I find the secret is to put out as much as they will eat in my case around 10 sachets per night. By the fourth night no activity and this morning there was a very large dead rat laying in the grass. Job done.

Used in my ponies feed room where I'd seen/heard a rat, put 12 sachets down first night, then 8 sachets the next night, all went. 3rd night none went n not seen the rats since. I've also got them on a different part of the yard in my hay shed. I've let them be around there for months as they were doing no harm, but recently they've started pooing on my hay hence I've had to do something about it!! 1st night put 8 sachets out, n last night put the other 7 from the packet out. Within 5mins of putting them out n while I was still there, I had a cheeky rat run along, grab a sachet n run off, literally 2metres away from me!!! So I'm guessing they like it lol and it certainly does the job too. Used it along with 3 other types of poison at home for a mouse n it refused to eat any of them!! But I think it kept managing to find other feed sources. The ultrasonic plug in worked in the end with that one!!

Having been inundated with rats under our decking we needed to do something fast. Since using this prduct the gnawing has stopped and we haven't seen any for a few days, fingers crossed.

I’m afraid our resident rat isn’t interested, I have them placed where it accesses the garden but it ignores them!
