Contrary to what the product states, the base plate does not fit the rsc 2 so not even bother to purchase unless you are equipped and want to file that part ————————————————— Update: 24/Apr/2024 Neewer customer service reached me and thank me for making them know that this item did not the intended product which is a common error on their system. They have updated the listing and so customers can know that it only fits the rs2, rs3 and so. They were great helping me sort it out and recommended me what to do next. Big thumps up for the customer service department. Really nice guys.

Quick release is super awesome, but the strap design is super weird and I can't figure out how to get this into a super comfortable configuration.

Makes it easier for doing weddings all day

I got this because I didn't want to have to put my DJI RS3 Mini on its little tripod every time during short breaks in shooting. I'd rather just hang it around my neck instead. I saw some YouTube person using a similar strap, so I decided to get this. It could help stabilizing my gimbal hold as well, but I just got it today so I haven't really had a chance to use it and comment on it. All I can say is that the design is very good, the materials and manufacturing quality of the different included parts seem to be of high quality. It doesn't feel cheap. A few things weren't clear to me when I ordered this item. 1. What's included? Amazon's product description doesn't list what's included. See attached picture. It comes with the strap, two quick release adapters (of which you will need to use only one if you use the existing QR hole in the base), one base plate that you fit at the bottom of the gimbal (where you normally attach the tripod), a hex key, and a manual. 2. Will it work on any sling handle? The product description doesn't say it will work with Sirui sling handle which is what I have. It works just fine. All you need for it to be compatible is a 1/4"-20 hole at the back of the sling handle (preferably with locating pin holes) 3. Will it work with DJI RS3 Mini? The product description doesn't say that it will, and perhaps for a reason because the base plate didn't fit the bottom of the Mini. The Mini's bottom is slightly (about 2mm) fatter than the opening in the base plate. So I had to file away about 1mm on each side of the bottom bracket that mates with the gimbal. It is aluminum, so it is easy to file. But be aware if you plan to use with the RS3 Mini. It won't work out of the box. You have to do a very small DYI project to make it work. Just a little filing, nothing complicated. To be fair to the manufacturer, they never claimed Mini compatibility. Oh, one more thing is the base bracket is loaded with goodies. It has an Arca Swiss mounting groove at the bottom making it east to mount it on a tripod or a slider or whatever offers Arca mount. I like that a lot. Plus it has a couple of 1/4" mount points with locating pin holes and two NATO mounting rails if you want to mount a side handle or monitors. Overall, for the little I have used, I really like this product. Unique, well designed, and hopefully reliable and useful for me in the long run.

As much as I love the strap, it does not fit the RSC2 Gimbal. I even attempted to modify but it remained loose. I ended up attaching the strap higher up with one of the attachments it came with so I can still use the strap.

I should have read the review that stated that this product doesn't fit the RSC2 gimbal. But the RS2 and RSC2 must not have the same hole placement. I'm not sure how the other reviewer tried to modify it, but I figured that rather than returning it, and having the same problem with every other gimbal strap baseplate, I ground off the front lip with my bench grinder. It doesn't sit flush with the front or the back, but the casual observer would never notice, and it doesn't wobble because the NATO rails on the side stop it from doing that. I think that unless you're handy, then RSC2 owners should probably think of buying a different strap, but otherwise this baseplate and strap combo probably have the most design features that I've seen compared to any other similar baseplates.
