Kidney Restore Cats & Dogs Unflavored for Supporting Normal Kidney Function, Creatinine, Pet Renal Kidney Health Supplement Felines Canines

My dog was just DX'd with kidney disease two weeks ago. Very symptomatic, wouldn't eat (she's a miniature pinscher so that's highly unusual). Purchased this product, changed to rice & meat diet, lower protein. Added this supplement and she's like a new pup at 15. Still fragile but very improved. When her labs are repeated we'll have a better idea. Given her appetite is so improved, bowel movements so much better, larger, & not dry, eating well, drinking less water, I'd say this product plus dietary change have stabilized a pet headed toward serious dehydration and impeding kidney failure. Time will tell. A proper renal support diet and nutrition are needed, my vet said yes, give this a try, too. Given I saw so much improvement so quickly, without appetite stimulants, I thin this product may have truly helped a lot. Time will tell, but if her labs are better, kidney & liver numbers better, I'll give this a glowing review. She has really turned around in a short time. You have to get a small pet stabilized quickly with renal disease and bowel issues, or they can decline and be in great distress quickly. So far, so good.

This works for my yorkie with lymes nephritis. It helps with inflammation and stops the blood in the urine. I also use Epakitin in conjunction with it. That suppresses the leaking of protein immensely. Overall he’s doing wonderfully. Going on 4 yrs with no issues. Update 7-5-26. The last two tubs were different from the previous ones. My dog doesn’t care for the taste and it is clumping and going solid. May have to change to something else. Very disappointed.

The powder completely solidified and is unusable after 3 months

I’ve bought this for one of my cats and it did wonders for her. I bought this product again for my male cat in hopes that it will help his kidneys like it did for my female cat. The only thing that I have an issue with is supposed to come with a scoop this container did not come with a scoop luckily on the instruction it says about 1 teaspoon so I’m able to figure it out.

My dog (Shiba Inu) who is now 15 years old, had elevated kidney levels for a few years... especially her SDMA and Creatine...I put her on this powder for one container and didn't realize that her values were getting better until a couple years later when I asked my vet office for a copy of her blood test results. I looked back and her kidney values when she was on it and it actually dropped. I put her back on it, and her values became back to normal levels. She was not diagnosed with kidney disease just yet...but my vet was concerned that it was nearing that way. So, don't wait until your dog's kidney become so bad that it might not have enough time to reverse (or basically detox)...this product seemed to help her kidney values while elevated. I have her on this product as well as other non-related supplements. She has mild dog dementia which is a different story and her story is not over yet...partly thanks to this powder. Also, get a different pre,post,pro-biotic for your dog to help aid food digestion to further supplement this supplement...especially a postbiotic...that also really helped added with high quality food.

Update: Since Amazon does not offer returns or replacements for this product, I contacted the manufacturer directly - they actually have a link posted right on the jar. I got a quick response and they immediately sent me a replacement - it’s on the way. Apparently there can be variations in the product that are natural - my cats just didn’t like this particular batch. lol. am confident that I will be able to continue using this product with success. I commend Kidney Restore for doing their best to keep customers satisfied. Earlier review: This product was different than usual. I have been using Kidney Restore for several years with great success. Color and texture of the product in this jar were different. My cats are throwing up after eating it and not finishing their meals. I would either like my money back or have it replaced with the true product.

7/6/26 STILL no scoop in item despite it calling for a scoop (see picture). I've been using this product on a monthly basis for a few years at this point & the past TWO month's shipment DIDN'T have the scoop in product like it normally does! 5/28/26 UPDATE Product was missing the measuring scoop inside. Thankfully I still had the last one w/the scoop before tossing it. UPDATE: Been using this for while in conjunction w/a couple other kidney supplements as my cat refuses KD foods. Magically, her KD has reversed from a stage 2 to stage 1. Not sure if it's attributed to this product solely but I will continue to use this w/Porus One & Pet Wellbeing gold standard kidney drops. Saw this suggested in a KD cat group & so far my cat is eating it. I didn't see any changes in my cat's kd levels as some in the group claimed but it had only been a couple weeks at her last blood panel. We'll see how it goes in a couple months.

I have purchased this item 22 times for my cats. I don't understand the bad ratings. I do use other supplements with this product. It has helped my pets considerably. Sometimes, the cat's kidneys may too far, but it has helped two of my cats live until 18 years of age. Again, I do use other supplements along with what the vet recommends. I will still stick with this product, as i know it does help.
