10/10 for me cant go wrong at all with these! highly recommend !
the Nothing Ear (2024) earbuds are a fantastic choice for anyone looking for high-quality audio, effective noise cancellation, and a unique design. While the case may be prone to scratches, the overall performance and features make these earbuds a worthwhile investment. (you can buy a silicone case made especially for this product. The protective case is called the KZIOACSH Silicone Case for Nothing Ear 2024. Design and Build Quality The Nothing Ear (2024) earbuds maintain the iconic transparent design that Nothing is known for, allowing you to see the internal components. Available in both black and white finishes, these earbuds are not only stylish but also practical. The case, however, is prone to scratches and cracks over time. Audio Performance Equipped with 11mm ceramic drivers, the Nothing Ear (2024) delivers rich lows and detailed highs, providing a balanced and immersive sound experience. The earbuds support a wide range of Bluetooth codecs, including AAC, LDAC, LHDC 5.0, and SBC, ensuring high-resolution audio streaming. Nothing Ear - Confusing Generation Name but Excellent Sound
So whoever is responsible for naming these products, needs a talking too 🤣 Nothing Ear 1 Nothing Ear 2 Nothing Ear (a) Nothing Ear 2024 - so why weren't these called 'Nothing Ear 3'? 😏 If you are interested, make sure you are choosing the right ones! Now that gripe is out the way, I can say these are a fantastic buy. I bought these after trialing the B&O EX - often heralded in the wireless earbuds as one of the top dogs for sound quality, but weak for Active Noise Cancelling. My next choice was the Bose Ultra or Sony's but I thought I would give the underdog a try before splashing back out. I am thankful I did! Pros: Excellent sound - you can tweak this, but it was easy to make them warm and bassy! Battery Life - solid IP Rating - use in the gym or rain Microphone - I use my earbuds for my job to make calls, not had a single complaint which I did with AirPods Pro 2nd Gen and B&O EX! Gorgeous looks - ultra modern, cyberpunk vibes (matches all my transparent tech) Intuitive app - with excellent customisation options for sound. Cons: ChatGPT functionality - appears to be android/Nothing phone only Case scratches quite easily :( Active Noise Cancelling - it's good, but not the best! Pinch Controls - these seem to either work excellently or not at all! Intermittent pausing - sometimes audio will just randomly pause, with no tone or acknowledgment from the earbud Slow to recognise when removed from ear. --------- I know I have listed quite a few cons, but for the price, looks, sound and functionality, it's an easy 5 stars 😎 Good job Nothing

ANC let's it down
Pros: Excellent Sound Quality: The sound produced by these earbuds is surprisingly clear and well-balanced. The bass is deep without being overwhelming, and the highs are crisp. Comfortable Fit: The earbuds come with different sizes of ear tips, allowing you to find the perfect fit for your ears. They stay securely in place, even during workouts. Stable Bluetooth Connection: I haven't experienced any dropouts or connectivity issues while using these earbuds. The Bluetooth pairing process was quick and hassle-free. Long Battery Life: The earbuds themselves hold a decent charge and can last for several hours of continuous use. The charging case also provides additional charges on the go. Touch Controls: The touch-sensitive controls on the earbuds work well and are intuitive to use for adjusting volume, skipping tracks, or answering calls. Cons: However, there are a few drawbacks to consider before purchasing these earbuds: Microphone Quality: The microphone could be better. While adequate for short calls, the voice quality during phone conversations is not as clear as I would like. Limited Noise Isolation: The passive noise isolation provided by the earbud design is moderate. They don't completely block out loud external noises. Overall Impression: In summary, are a solid choice for anyone looking for affordable wireless earbuds with good sound quality and comfort. They are ideal for everyday listening and workouts, offering a stable Bluetooth connection and decent battery life. Just be aware of the microphone quality and noise isolation limitations if these factors are critical for your usage. For the price, these earbuds deliver a satisfying listening experience and are worth considering for casual users. However I returned mine because ANC is important to me.

THE Earphones to have
Just received the Nothing Ear 1 - so can't comment on battery or noise cancellation yet, but I had to review once I heard the quality. I've owned many a bluetooth earphone in my life, this is a fundamentally different experience. The sound is crisp and clear, no song sounds bad, tin-y or off. It sounds like I am sat in front of Kris Kristofferson as he plays his guitar. The touch control requires real pressure so no misclicks. Great value for money at £55-£80. Fits well on default buds, and comes with different sizes.

Amazing sound but quality control doubts - faulty pair
THIS REVIEW IS FOR THE NOTHING EAR, not the Nothing Ear (a). They are really two different products; shouldn't be on the same product page. It's confusing people in the reviews. I'm returning these because there seems to be a problem with the sensor in the left ear that detects if the bud is in your ear or not. What this means is that they can sometimes randomly pause audio, or if you touch them at all to adjust fit (i.e. not doing any 'squeezing') they can pause-then-play-then-pause. This occurs periodically - i.e. they'll work perfectly for a day, but then the next day this bug/fault happens. The app's 'Fit Test' confirms this - even though they are snugly placed in my ear, the app says that they're not there (when the bug/fault is happening). It's very frustrating because.... .... they sound amazing. Really amazing. The detail and vibrancy I hear, right across the frequencies, is so so good. The spacing in the sound stage is awesome. There is great energy and punch about the sound. You get lovely sub-woofy wobbles and crunches; punchy, clear but not overpowering base; very clear, smooth mids and beautiful, detailed, quite sparkly highs. Everything sits nicely together. They make me want to listen to music. I'm enjoying music I already loved even more. And the app that goes along with it is terrific. I have quite bad high-frequency age-related hearing damage and the personal sound profile you can create in the app, after doing the hearing test, really makes a big difference to my enjoyment of audio. I'd also add that they're really comfortable (for my smallish ears) and the touch controls work well (when the stupid bug/fault isn't happening). I'm quite happy with the noise cancellation. They're my first headphones with ANC and it doesn't cut out ambient noise completely but it does have a worthwhile effect, e.g. the 'rumble' when on a bus or the background noise in a cafe are both significantly reduced and music sounds clearer. Connectivity to phone (Pixel 7) and laptop has been flawless. Phone calls are fine and have had no complaints about the microphones from the other end. And the case is weirdly satisfying to hold and use. Even the homescreen widget on Android is stylish and pleasing. If I was picky, I'd point out that the 'seam' in the plastic housing of the buds, where the two sides meet, is a bit off, i.e. the line it makes seems to change width a little in places (this is minute but visible). Again, makes me wonder about quality control. Despite that, I'd say they feel very sturdy and well made. So overall, I'd say they're close to perfection... but my pair are faulty. I'm torn on whether to take a chance on another pair; I'm concerned about quality control and longevity now. Incidentally, very irritated that Amazon aren't offering a replacement, just a refund, considering that they're faulty.

Colour me impressed! : In-Ear bass monsters if that’s your jam!
This might be a bit of a long one, but I want to set the stage a bit: i’ve probably spent the best part of a weeks’ worth of evenings comparing various different earbuds (video and written reviews from various sources) before I ended up settling on the Nothing Ear - I can’t stand wasting time and/or money on buying something inferior or not getting the best ‘bang for buck’, so usually spend an inordinate amount of time checking reviews to make sure I’ll be happy with the end product. Going back a couple of years or so, I had a pair of the Sony XM4s (in-ear) on the recommendation/ reviews that stated they had excellent audio quality, warm sound and good bass response. I believed this would also apply to ample bass delivery, but I was led to be mistaken. Of course you could EQ bass in, which I did - but I found that once I turned them above ~50% or so volume (which I had to do more often than I’d realise, as I found they just didn’t go loud enough), the EQ would begin to flatten back out to a more neutral or flat response, and the further you increased the volume, the more the EQ would attenuate. No reviews or info I could find online mentioned this - and I still can’t really find anything that mentions this now! Unhappy with this revelation (plus I just didn’t find them comfortable to wear any longer than half an hour or so) I returned them and replaced them with the Soundcore Liberty 3 Pros, which I still have to this day - markedly better bass response/ capability out of the box (which could be further emphasised with EQ) and yes, the treble was a lot harsher and perhaps even sibilant as did the reviews about them say at the time - but I was able to EQ the treble down to a level that made it manageable. The best parts were that they went plenty loud enough, and maintained their EQ setting all the way up to max volume, so the sound signature would remain the way I set it, instead of rolling off on its own. After this rigmarole, I needed to make sure I got it right out of the gate the next time the upgrade was due. I originally had three sets of buds on my list that I had whittled down to: Liberty 4 Pros, OnePlus Buds 3 Pro, and the Nothing Ear (2024 model). The Liberty 4 Pros fell to third place after doing my own comparisons from data and reviews I’d seen from various different sources (rtings, Picky Audio YouTube channel, plus a couple of other YouTube reviewers and online written review sites), then left me with the two. Following the Picky Audio Excel spreadsheet he’s created, where he’s stacked up all the data from various earbuds he’s reviewed over the last couple of years or so, I discovered the Nothing Ear have a max volume a few dB above the OnePlus, so this immediately made me consider these buds higher to begin with - then following on from his review where he compared the remaining two buds from my list, he stated that the Nothing Ear had the stronger and louder bass of the two, and of any buds he’s tested up to that point; or words to that effect anyway. That sealed the deal for me. I can confirm after doing some basic A/B testing for myself, going from the Nothing Ears back and forth with my Liberty 3 Pros; the difference is astounding! I can’t quite believe I used to think the Liberty 3 Pros had good bass - in isolation, they did, plus I liked the stereo separation and how crisp the highs could be (most likely due to the dual driver design of them), but I’ve always been a bit of a bass head at heart, and always preferred a stronger low end and/ or strong V-shaped EQ. Thankfully, the Nothing Ear has one of the most comprehensive EQ managers/ programs baked into their app that I’ve come across so far personally - with a good number of bands, which can each be adjusted to a specific frequency, but can also adjust their individual Q factor, so can affect the slope or roll off of each individual band on the EQ! There is also a more basic mode if that’s more your style too. TL;DR - after comparing various different buds for a week or so, using various sources to make sure bias wasn’t a factor and to attempt to corroborate their findings, plus coming from my own experience - I whittled down the list to end up with the Nothing Ear: and I’m very happy with my decision! I would like to hope to you would be pleasantly surprised with these too, especially after you set them up, perform the ‘hearing test’ in the app, and adjust the EQ to suit your tastes!

Outstanding sound, especially base
I am really impressed with these. I have had a number of earphone earbuds. My latest is the ear fun pro 4, are these are excellent. I wanted to try the Nothing earbuds as I'm always looking for something better to then revisit my music collection. I used the app to test my hearing (as I do with ear fun products). I like a full rich base, and these to deliver brilliantly. What I particularly like about these Nothing earbuds is that all the other frequencies sounds so good as well. I have used them in the car, and noise cancelling is perfectly good for my liking. I don't use transparency mode. If I am listening to a podcast or audiobook and want to be aware of my surroundings I use the Ear Fun ear clips, as these are perfect for that. If you are looking for earbuds based on fantastic sound, then I don't think anybody would be disappointed with these. I experimented with all equaliser settings and I think they offer excellent sound to suit all tastes. They also happen to look and feel really good. I like the pinch controls as I wear earbuds in bed and touch control will sometimes alter settings as the earbud touches the pillow.

I highly recommend it
I think you cannot get this quality in this price range. I use it in the gym. Yes, sometimes it falls off but you have 3 rubbers for the ear S, M and L this might prevent but depends on the activity I highly recommend it

Affordable airpods pro alternative
I am pleasantly surprised at the quality of these earphones. The best thing I can compare them to are airpods pros that I've used in the past, the fit is very similar too. I have small ears and struggle with in-ear headphones, but using the small tips, these fit well. The bass blew me away, I'm not sure what I expected but for the price I wasn't expecting much, I'm very happy. The noise cancellation sounds good, but I've yet to use them in a loud environment. The case is sturdy and well made, and so nice to look at! The design is definitely a 10/10 for me Overall I'm super happy, worth the price in my opinion

Detaylı Nothing Ear & Ear (a) İnceleme
(LHDC 5.0'a ve dolayısıyla 24bit 192kHz'ye Nothing Ear (a) nın erişimi malesef ki yok.) Kim bilebilir.

Impressive Sound and Build Quality
One of the best wireless earbuds I’ve ever had! It has amazing sound quality by default and you can even make it sound better with the right eq settings using their app. It also has a bass enhance feature which significantly increase the bass without sacrificing other elements of the song like vocals, guitars, synthesizers, etc. It is like having a subwoofer in my ears. The bass is punchy, clear, and refined. Vocals and instrument separation and sound stage is also good for casual listeners. The build quality of the earbuds and charging case has a premium feel. Battery life is decent and call quality is also good. ANC and Transparency mode is not the best, but it is also really solid. The nothing ear is also very comfortable to wear. It’s similar to apple airpods pro 2. I could wear them for hours straight and still have my ears perfectly fine. I’ve previously tested apple airpods, jabra elite series, samsung galaxy buds, huawei freebuds pro 1 & 2, sennheiser momentum 2 & 3, nothing ear (1) (version 1), and more. And this nothing ear 2024 version is my personal favorite out of all! I bought this nothing ear as a replacement of my sennheiser momentum 3 tws earbuds since my sennheiser have charging issues. The nothing ear costs less than half of the sennheiser, but their sound quality is very similar. Highly recommended!
