MUDstache Unscented Mustache Training Wax for Men (1 oz)

NO OTHER "WAX" LIKE IT. If something less severe is what you are looking for this is the best product out there and the only one like it that I've found. I have a pretty thick mustache/beard but my hair is on the medium to lighter side. Most of the thicker wax is too stiff, and too noticeable. This controls any frizz. It controls the shape but allows it to look more natural. It has more of a natural scent and it's very workable and easy to apply. It will stiffen a bit as it dries but never enough to make your beard feel hard, just lightly controlled. I hope this product is around forever.

I ended up liking this mustache wax a LOT more than I thought I would! It has a good hold, but because it's water-soluble I can wash it quickly off of my fingers instead of everything feeling waxy for a while afterwards. It does have a slight scent, but it's pretty subtle and not at all bothersome to me or my spouse. Easily the best of the few products I've tried.

not a fan of the smell, smells like a house built in the 1920s with slight mold damage and someone's trying to cover up the smell. other than that it has a decent hold and is easy to use. smells not overwhelming but could deff use a new scent. also price is mid range for stashe wax.

dear world, I rarely write reviews! I have been searching for something like this for decades. And finally, my barber told me about it. This is the greatest stuff ever. The picture on Amazon was a bit misleading. I was afraid I would have to use a lot of it, but I only had to use a very small amount it’s magical it truly works and I can even comb through it and it stays in place. It is the best for training your mustache, especially if you’ve accidentally shaved your stash off and start all over again. This is the best product it’s light you can sleep in it and yet it also washes off so easily when needed. This is a game changer. I will use it forever. I highly highly recommend it.

I was in shock at how incredible this stuff is. You out it in, brush it through, style it, and it STAYS! incredible hold all day. I used it for the first time during a while teaching an 8 hour workshop in 90 degree weather and it held through moving gear, talking for hours, and 90 degree weather and through lunch, pizza, dinner, and more. I am immediately buying a 3 pack after submitting this review. photos attached showing after application (8am with my partner) and after day (11pm solo shot) of the stache after wearing it for 15 hours. The hold is a 10/10, easy to wash out, easy to get off your fingers and comb, the only downside is my partner says she doesn't like the scent when I first apply but it does go away after a bit. I love it. for someone who has a longer more stylized stache, this is it!

3.0 out of 5 stars This mustache wax actually works really well. Depending on the day, I only need a minimal amount to keep everything in place no complaints on the hold or how little I go through. That said, once this tin is gone I’m moving on. The scent straight up sucks. I’ve gotten used to it after a while, but every now and then at work (I’m an ammonia refrigeration technician) it hits me hard enough when I have to throw on a gas mask. Hey, at least it’s still better than ammonia, I guess. If you don’t mind the smell or you don’t work around strong odors, it’s decent. For me, it’s a one and done purchase.

I am really impressed by how well Mudstache holds, especially given my longer mustache. I initially went in with low expectations since I'd been using Death Grip's Extra Strong Hold, which is notorious for its rigidity. But Mudstache won me over. My routine is simple: I apply Mudstache to a freshly showered and dried mustache in the morning. Throughout the day, I’ll reapply or adjust as needed. Pros: - Applies effortlessly. It goes on much easier than traditional waxes—no need to warm it up and less time to work it in. - Exceptional hold for the effort. Paradoxically, it holds far better than you'd expect from something so lightweight and easy to apply. - Lightweight feel. It doesn't weigh down the mustache or leave it feeling stiff or greasy. - Matte finish. No shine—your mustache looks natural, not lacquered. - Less mess. Wax is extremely sticky, hard to wash off, and tends to get on everything. Mudstache, on the other hand, rinses clean from my fingers in seconds. Cons: - Requires some upkeep. You’ll likely need to adjust or reapply it during the day, especially compared to a wax like Death Grip, which turns your mustache into stone. Now that I have a fully developed a mature beard and mustache, I've started going to the barber again, because I didn't lose my hair, it just seems to have moved. I call him my beard consultant. Because after consulting with him, he recommended mustache mud. I had to figure out what the heck that was and what he meant, and I'm glad I did. I really enjoy using this before eating. My mustache is as long as my beard, and my beard is full. Using this keeps the hair out of my soup and sandwiches, mostly. Easier to apply than wax, great for training. For me it doesn't replace wax, it fills a void. Now I use this to train, or before I eat, for a nice temporary hold with no residuals. If I want to use wax, I use this first, and then the wax. This stuff washes out easily, and leaves no residue. It doesn't have the hold of wax, but then again I don't think it's supposed to. I keep one in my (computer) bag, asked another by the TV. Simple to apply, no flaking. One of these small containers has lasted me a few months, and I only apply once or twice a day. So, while I'm still trying to figure things out, this definitely filled the void that wax was proving too difficult for. Now I use this mostly, and only wax when needed. I need to eat, but I don't need to be pretty 🙂

Gouging price hikes! I paid $17 for two containers in December and now the price is $31! No thanks! Good product but not worth it at that price. I’ll just leave my morning yoghurt in my stache from now on.

Very disappointed with this product. Normally I use Vintage Grooming - Bare Bones, Sudden Death, or Death Grip depending on the hold I want - but sometimes all I want is to tame my mo, get it away from my mouth and give it a little shape. Unfortunately, this product does not do that adequately... especially at this price point. This did help pull it away from my mouth somewhat but failed to give it any shape, it also made it very bushy. I've used a $5 hair clay product before and got the same effect. This may work better on short Mo's but anything with any length needs more.
