Totally pleased with these great, solid rubber threshold ramps!
I just purchased this (in both the 1" and the 1.2" rise) for my 91-year old brother-in-law's new apartment and they work PERFECTLY! The 1" rise one fits on the inside his entry door and the 1.2" rise is the perfect height for the outside of the entry door. The rubber is nice and firm and should hold up for many, many years. Wheelchairs will have no issues crossing his threshold at all.... nor will my clumsy self who seems to likes to trip over dust! These come with three strips of sticky tape on the bottom of them and that worked perfectly for the Laminate Wood Flooring inside his apartment as well as onto the cement walkway on the outside. (Note: do check the height of them for your door's opening & closing BEFORE you remove the plastic off the tape as they will quickly stick to where you put them, but if you then go and lift it back up to reposition or something, they may not stick as well.) If one of them is a bit tall for your threshold, no problem. Just take a nice sharp razor knife and slice off a bit of the top wherever it is rubbing on the underside of the door when opening or closing. I needed to do this on about a 4" length of one side of the ramp inside the apartment and it took me all of maybe 1 minute, and you don't even see that I sliced that thin piece off. I did see one or two reviews where they mentioned a smell to them but I truthfully I barely smelled anything at all and I am usually very sensitive to strange chemical type smells, and that little bit of smell was gone by the next day out of the box. Also, yes, the 1" riser comes rolled inside a box and therefore did not lay entirely flat at first, but I did as others recommended and immediately took it out of the box, rolled it in the opposite direction and put it back inside the box for a day and it straightened right out. The 1.2" riser comes laid out flat in a box and that laid beautifully flat right away. Too bad they don't ship the 1" ones in the same flat position, but at least it did go back to laying flat by doing that roll in the other direction, returning it to the box in that position and let it sit for a day or two. So, YES, I highly recommend these threshold ramps! The added safety these threshold ramps provide is soooo worth the cost of them which (in my opinion) is very reasonable, they install quick and easily and they look nice and neat once installed.

Works Great for 1" Entry Threshold
Arrives coiled in a box but is thick and heavy rubber. No chemical smell. Once laid on the floor, the strip settled down and stayed flat. It is very strong in its support. I decided to not use the peel and stick adhesive that is on it; we have it laying along the baseboard, behind the front door. If needed for the wheelchair or wheeled walker, it is easy to pick up this strip, open the door and lay it inside, along the 1" high threshold. I got the folding wheelchair and my sister was volunteered to be the "patient". Once seated, she was VERY easy to roll to the doorway, over the threshold and down the little ramp. Going back inside was just as easy. I am using this as a "when needed" device and not as "installed". For me this is a fantastic item at a great price. I would happily buy this again.

Threshold ramp.
Worked perfectly for the 1 inch high threshold. The wheelchair can now make the transition easier.

Good product, just measure for accuracy
They work great to make the transaction from indoor to outdoor easier. Just make sure to measure your door jam to ensure you get the correct height. We have not used the sticky back tape to hold the ramp down, at this time it is working and staying in place without it.

Just what I needed
The perfect solution. Now I can get my mobility device into my home without a struggle. Made from a very dense rubber. Should last for many years.

It fits!
Great the ramp fits perfectly and is exactly what we needed so my walker could go over the door jam. I would buy it again and recommend it to all my friends and neighbors!

Won't lay flat
It comes rolled up. Can't get it flat. Tried weighting it down on level surface, didn't work. Tried putting it on bare floor by fireplace with weights, didn't work. If it is not level, door will not open. Can't glue it to carpet. Heavy duty and correct size, but should have been shipped in flat box.

Best solution for uneven floors.
Excellent product. Easy to cut (I used a sawsall and had no problem. It stays put and turns a tripping hazard into a nice threshold. I now have 2 of these in my home.

It made all the Difference at the Cottage
Bought this one and a 1 inch one. Awesome! I used the 1.2 inch one against the door threshold inside (had to get it trimmed by about 2 inches - had a friend with a bandsaw) and the 1 inch one against outside on the door threshold. During out cottage stay my huusband was able to navigate his wheelchair through the door without assistance. At the end of our stay I was able to lift the risers up and take them home. I've actually permanently installed the 1.2 inch one outside our door at home. Can't recommend it enough. If you are installing it inside just get it trimmed with a saw of some kind. A knife won't do it

Worked Great for Our Construction Project
We used this threshold ramp on a construction project and it worked exactly as needed. The rubber is solid, it sits well in place, and the 1.2" rise made it a good solution for the doorway transition. Easy to set up and felt durable enough for regular use. Iโd use it again for a similar application.

Good, but adhesive strips should be left off for customers to put on.
I ordered 3 risers, they arrived really quickly and are the perfect height. My one issue is the self adhesive tape is already attached to the risers, one in the middle, and one at each end. The problem is if you have to cut them down to fit the door width, you end up cutting the adhesive off too, so when you place the riser down it curls up. I had to nail one end down for all of them. They should provide the adhesive separately so customers can put it on themselves according to the door width. Otherwise a good product.
