Awsome back pack, very low profile. Keep in mind this is the smaller version. Great for a little day bag.

After a year of use I’m updating my review and and downgrading this pack from “great” to “okay”. It fits well with the D3CR--as it should--with solid stitching and strong fabric. I used this little pack for every day carry, and it fits quite a bit of stuff. However, it does feel (and look) a little small when worn over the shoulders without the battle belt, and the hydration portion is limited - the 50 oz (1.5L) Camelback Antidote fits nicely in it, but not many other hydration systems will. But the main reason for the downgrade is due to the darn zipper pulls. The zipper pulls are strings with plastic thumb tabs that attach to the zippers so that you can open/close them. After about 3 months the first zipper pull came off. The plastic tab didn’t break; rather, the string pulled out from within the zipper tab. I thought, “wow, that’s unfortunate - maybe I pulled too hard??”. I grabbed the nearest thing—a binder clip!—and used it as a zipper pull. Then, two months later, it happened again. Then a couple months later it happened yet again! Now, I wasn’t carrying a bunch of stuff in the bag - a few documents, a pair of gloves, and a 12 oz bottle of water. So what the heck??!! Ever since I stopped carrying the pack. You can’t open/close it without a zipper pull—whether it be a string or a freakin’ binder clip—and, frankly, I’m disappointed that a $135 pack is going to have 3 separate points of failure in less than a year. Is it easily remediable? Yes - for $9 (not including shipping) you can get new zipper pulls from Hailey Strategic in high-viz green, yellow, blue, or red. But if you want something more discrete, in say coyote or black, you’ll have to sign up to be notified when those are back in stock. I guess that means I’m not the only one with weak zipper pulls, huh?

This bag is a great size for taking essentials to the range, on a flight, or just running around town. They are a little spendy, but the quality is great and the size fit for what I needed.

I use it to carry my tablet Carmike 15 in laptop And other supplies that I need for the day.
