A+ - I purchased this pump to replace a cracked pump on a couple year old Briggs Brute power washer. It’s powered by a Briggs and Stratton 550 engine and was originally rated for 2100 psi so the new pump has a little power advantage over the old one. The pump shipped in a slightly larger box than necessary and was padded only by some paper fill. The pump itself was packaged in a clear bag with no instructions or documentation. I was a little worried as the pump looked like it had been jostled and had clearly crushed part of the shipping box. The pump seemed fine, but you’re probably going to want to inspect it closely if yours ships in a similar manner. The install took about 30 minutes total and the pump mated perfectly to the Briggs engine and the Brute frame. Formerly the water inlet was to the gas tank side and the outlet was on the exhaust side, but the new pump repositions both of these to the rear of the engine. Because of this, I had to remove the axle and wheels from my frame. This configuration was the only way the mounting holes for the pump, frame and engine to properly align. This wasn’t a deal breaker for me but should be considered. The install was uneventful but I did lubricate the o-rings on the high pressure hose with some oil and liberally coated the output shaft of the engine with grease. The 550 engine has to work hard to spin the pump but given the PSI change, I almost expected it. I ran it through a tank of gas with zero complaints. Though pricey at roughly 1/2 the cost of a new power washer, the pump seems to be of high enough quality to make repair a reasonable alternative to buying new. Review: Perfect for my 6.75HP Craftsman Pressure Washer! (580.752330) - The pump on my old 6.75 HP, 2550 PSI, 2 GPM Craftsman Pressure Washer (580.752330) bit the dust after many, many years. And I am happy to say that this replacement pump works fantastic! YES, I did have to go down to the hardware store and buy longer bolts, as well as a handful of washers to help shim. But it was no big deal and really easy. I just kept adding washers until it snugged down, nice and even/tight. It didn't take that many. Honestly I would have bought new hardware anyway, as the old bolts & nuts were pretty rusted. All in all, if your pump is shot but the engine still works good, this replacement pump is a no brainer!

Good quality & easy to install, HOWEVER......
Let me start off by saying that I’m very pleased with the quality of this pump considering the price, and it works great. I work on this type of equipment for a living, so the installation of it for me was effortless (although I did have to provide longer length mounting bolts). This should be an easy install for any moderately mechanically inclined person, but the guy who celebrates after installing a porch light bulb or replacing the batteries in his garage door remote will certainly run into some difficulties; There should be a simple instruction sheet explaining that longer mounting bolts might be required, what torque they should be tightened to, and also recommend to the customer to lightly coat the engine PTO/crankshaft with anti-seize lubricant prior to installing the pump. Another thing worth mentioning would be in tightening the mounting bolts in in a staggered pattern and then in stages; , tighten each bolt a couple of turns , then pull the starter rope 2 or 3 times (with engine power switch in OFF position) to help properly seat the pump against the undercarriage and prevent the pump from binding.

Product review
This thing works great. I’ve only used it once and will follow up on a review of it later. It didn’t quite fit my application perfect because it was not meant for my washer. But I machined a plate. The drawing they supply is perfect. Definitely appreciate that. And the list of pressure, shaft sizes etc... company has done very well with product. My hose leaked and my gun was busted. (25$ for a 600$ commercial pressure washer) hose and gun with auto reel are on the way to completely finish job. Will be like brand new. But so far the newly reassembled engine turns new pump with a problem. Pump is quiet and all fittings were tight on arrival. Great pump.

Great Replacement For Simpson
I put this on a Simpson unit. It fit perfectly. It's a bit more powerful than the one that it replaced. It is literally half the price of the Simpson replacement pump. Just buy it!
