Great instructions - packaged perfectly. Easy to install and gives the user a little extra peace of mind. The level of protection seems adequate for most home owners. Flexible installation options. The unit is small enough to easily add to an existing application and incredibly easy with a new installation. This one was one of the best priced options available. It has a green light on front to show it is working and the breaker box is protected.

PERFECT. Bright Enough LED to see from a long driveway. Functions as a Type1 SPD and connects to the bus terminals OR works as a Type2 SPD and Connects to a 20 Amp Breaker. Compliant with 2026 and previous NEC for my main panel(s). I opt to install them on my sub panels as well for an additional layer. These are a LOT LESS expensive than any single electronic device in my home. *Heck, these cost less than my smoke detectors, let alone my dishwasher or AC unit(s).

Easy to install with basic electrical told like the sniffer pen is more than enough to check live wires while installing so you're safe. Trick is too install it as close as possible to the black breaker input. So when it surges, electricity can easily hit the device first and it does its thing and protect your home appliances and devices. Haven't had a hiccup I'm sure since installing it.

Worked great for my HVAC mini splits! I put one black wire on the line side of the hot conductor and the other on the line side of the neutral conductor and then put the white wire on the ground.
