Food Coloring Powder

I’m very happy with this natural food coloring set. The colors are vibrant and beautiful, especially considering they are plant-based. A little goes a long way, and they blend very well in frosting, icing, and dough without changing the taste. I love that they are dye-free and made with natural ingredients. Perfect for baking and decorating desserts. Great value for the price and highly recommended!

I love that these gels contain no artificial dyes. That was the reason I purchased this product - for someone with sensitivities to dyes. However, the seller claims that the colors are vibrant - they are not. The bottles are tiny and even using the entire bottle of black - the best I got was dark gray. I appreciate that there are dye-free options out there but was disappointed in the false marketing.

Love having a natural dye I can use to make cookies and feel good about! Of course being natural they won’t be as dark or deep, but the color I feel like is beautiful! If I were to use a whole file I am sure I could get some really dark colors, but I was super okay with it because know I am not poisoning people with fake dyes. No taste either, and super easy to use. To get my color really deep to do the painting on the little faces, I just added a few drops to my super liquified royal icing and it worked perfect.

I was looking for a natural food coloring that didn’t contain artificial dyes for my granddaughters birthday cake. She is very sensitive to food dyes. When reading through different brands I came across this brand, read the ingredients, read the reviews. It appeared to pass all my qualifications. When I went to order I noticed it came in 2 bottle sizes, so I ordered the larger bottles. I ordered 2 boxes because I like to keep my kitchen stocked. The order arrived, I baked and iced the birthday cake. The evening after her party she was hyper and unable to sleep. We assumed it was from the excitement of the day. A couple of days later I came across the dyes I had used in her icing and managed to increase the size of the font enough to actually read the ingredients. I was shocked to find artificial dyes listed! I felt like I had poisoned my granddaughter! It explains the two days of hyperactivity. In rechecking the amazon listing to figure out how the confusion happened on my end I see that the smaller bottles claim to have no artificial dyes while the larger bottles claim to be “food grade”. I see nothing “food grade” in those ingredients! And no ingredients listed on the listing at all, for either product. What deceptive marketing! Natural or not, I will never purchase from this company again. And of course, being a food product there are no returns.

These worked a lot better than I thought they were going to! I love that they are made from fruits and vegetables! Only one of them seemed to have any off taste to it, but honestly, the kids didn't even notice.

Black was perfect when added it to white.

Terrible. Almost no pigment and the color is no where near what it should be. Can't return - don't buy these. Get Wilton brand so you're not throwing out batches of expensive buttercream.

Nope. The red is orange. The colors are not even close. Don't waste your money and ruin a project!
