If you're looking for a great gaming OLED TV without breaking the bank look no further.
I’ve been eyeing a high-end display for a while, and the LG 65-Inch B4 OLED has absolutely transformed my home setup. If you’re coming from a standard LED or even a high-end Mini-LED, the difference is staggering, especially when it comes to depth and color accuracy. Cinematic Mastery: The movies on this TV look incredible. Because it's an OLED, the blacks are truly "infinite"—there is zero grayness or "blooming" around bright objects. Watching a movie in a dark room feels like being in a theater. The α8 AI Processor does a phenomenal job of making even standard streaming content look like native 4K. With Filmmaker Mode, you’re seeing exactly what the director intended without any artificial smoothing. Pro-Level Gaming: For gaming, this is a beast. The Colors & Blacks: In games like Cyberpunk 2077 or Call of Duty, the contrast between dark alleys and vibrant neon lights is stunning. The rich colors bring a level of realism that makes everything more immersive. Pure Speed: The 120Hz native refresh rate and sub-0.1ms response time mean zero lag. It has four HDMI 2.1 ports, so my PS5 Pro and other high-end peripherals all run at full bandwidth. Smooth Action: It’s fully compatible with G-Sync, FreeSync, and VRR, so the motion is butter-smooth even during intense, fast-paced action. Other Perks Worth Mentioning: Perfect Viewing Angles: No matter where you sit on the couch, the colors don't wash out. Ultra-Thin Profile: It's sleek and surprisingly light for its size, making it easy to mount. AI Sound Pro: While I recommend a soundbar for the best experience (it supports eARC and Dolby Atmos perfectly), the built-in AI sound actually does a decent job of up-mixing audio to fill the room. Verdict: If you value deep, rich blacks and vibrant, lifelike colors for your movies and games, this is the best value OLED on the market. It’s a massive upgrade that you’ll notice every time you turn it on.

Another great LG OLED
I have been a LG OLED owner for 10 years now. Our first one did have a board failure but it was the 1st Gen and curved. Our 2nd LG OLED was slightly curved and is going strong for over 6 years. I bought this one because of the huge price decrease. When I bought my 2nd OLED in 2019 the 55" was $1600 and the 65" was $2400, this got down to less than $1k and it was a no brainer to buy, even though I didn't really need it. This one is not as bright as the C series (or G series) but all the features are there, I don't need the high refresh rates as I'm not a huge gamer but more of a movie watcher. OLED is the best TV you can get now for picture quality and the blackest blacks. Smart TV features are good and work well (better than an AppleTV) and I'm actually one that likes the magic remote function that works like an air mouse. Inputs and outputs on the back of the TV are well placed and offer just about everything you will need including an optical audio output, which is a must for me.

Hard to believe this is entry level OLED!
This is my first OLED TV and I almost didn't buy it because of all the "entry level" chatter. I watched a few detailed reviews though and they all said the same things, which is that the TV is awesome, but there are others that are extra awesome and a lot of extra money. I am so glad I went with this. For starters, the picture is flat out sick. I cannot believe the difference between this and my other non-OLED 4k TVs. I am going to wind up going broke replacing them. The blacks and darker scenes are so crystal clear and perfect, no ghosting, no scaling, it is just perfect. What really knocked my socks off though were the 2 things that people were lukewarm on, and that is the sound and the remote. I included the pic to show the size of the room. I am standing 10 feet behind the sofa. This is an open floor plan with a bigger space than the picture shows and this TV fills not only the room, but the entire first floor and then some. The AI sound feature absolutely rocks! I swear it is equal to my Sonos Play 5. You can google cast to the TV too which is great. As for the remote, it is awesome. Sometimes the pointer is nice, but if you don't like it just don't activate it. The modes are seamless. Voice activation is great and you can search inside apps, not just outside. It has good weight and feels nice in hand. Total winner. LG Web OS is super fast and easy to customize. The LG Thin Q app is also nice and double as a remote. Setup was simple. I just don't know how anyone could not be happy with this TV.

OLED TV is not worth 3x cost of QLED
I bought the 65-inch version of this LG OLED TV at the exact same time I bought a second 65-inch TV. Both were going into a newly purchased home. The second TV was a TCL QLED TV. Both TVs are excellent. Only difference is in the cost. After much research, wife and I had decided the picture quality on the OLED TV would be far better, so we paid three times more for it vs. the QLED. The former went in the living room, the latter in the bedroom. In hindsight, we wish we had bought two of the TCL QLED TV. It was $800 less than the OLED yet Its picture quality is just as good. No complaints with the LG OLED TV-- other than the fat price tag.

LG OLED TV Has Good Picture Quality
I like the picture quality of this LG OLED B4 Smart TV. This is a smart TV. It has about 100 apps that you can install. I don't like the YouTube app. It doesn't keep a history of the videos that you've watched. If you stopped watching in the middle of the video and you turn off the TV, when you turn on the TV again, you can't continue watching that YouTube video where you left off. Most of the time, you can't even find that video again unless you do a search for the name of the video. There's another annoyance with a News app. Sometimes the picture turns a shade darker when you can see the Play/Pause button.

Amazing value for money entry into OLED
Phenomenal OLED for the price. Although, that is pretty easy to say since even the worst OLEDs are what I would consider “S Tier” for a TV. To be completely honest, I only watch YouTube and Movies on it. Therefore, I can’t speak for many of the TVs operating system features or input lag for high refresh use cases. What I can say is the colors are stunning as an OLED should be. Other reviewers, and tech experts say the brightness is low, but I found this TV more than bright for our apartment. That said, I definitely wouldn’t want to put this in a sunroom. Side note: the 65” size is perfect. It’s not too small for most living rooms, and also not too big for most living rooms. In our 16x13 living room, it’s almost like a movie screen. We’ve had it for a few months and it’s been perfectly reliable. Honestly, this TV has converted me into a TV snob. Any time I’m at a friends house it is a noticeable down grade unless they also have an OLED.

Disappointing. Half of the streaming apps don’t work.
Update: after almost a year, I’m still not loving this tv and will not buy LG again because of it. In theory, if the features all worked it would be a great one. But they don’t. It is slow, difficult to perform the simplest of tasks, a complete waste of money. Trying to update an app took me 20 minutes. And you would think an update would be a good thing, however, the app that didn’t work before, still does not work. Yay. And believe me, I have tried everything to make this tv work to the best of its ability. It’s terrible. Maybe I got a dud, but I won’t trust to try LG again. I was excited for this TV. It’s the first LG I have had, I typically buy Samsung. But the features of this TV were especially great for the price. Wellll… half of the streaming apps for this TV do not work. Customer service was zero help. They need to update their apps asap. I had to plug in my fire stick to watch half of them including Disney and Hulu, but others as well. Otherwise, the TV would be great. Features and picture are great. But why spend $1,000+ on a TV that doesn’t do what it’s made for? I shouldn’t have to use a fire stick. Also, I set up the remote to control the fire stick which would be a plus, except for the fact that it will randomly stop controlling the fire stick and I have to set it up again, and again. I think I will stick to Samsung after this one, as they have been most reliable for me in the past. If I had not bought it online and it wouldn’t be such a hassle to return I would have returned it. Disappointed.
