Living in Florida, keeping our A/C running properly year-round is a priority, so I like doing simple preventative maintenance whenever I can. These drain line treatment tablets make that process incredibly easy. The tablets are pre-measured, so there's no mess or guessing. I simply place one in the drain line as directed, and it slowly dissolves to help reduce the buildup of algae, slime, and other debris that can clog the condensate drain over time. Since using them, my drain line has stayed clear and I've avoided the water backups and musty odors that can happen when the line starts to clog. One bottle lasts a long time with 200 tablets, making it a great value compared to paying for an HVAC service call that could have been prevented with routine maintenance. Of course, these aren't a substitute for regular professional HVAC maintenance, but they're an inexpensive and simple way to help keep your system running smoothly between service visits. If you live in a humid climate where algae buildup is common, these are definitely worth keeping on hand. They've become part of my regular home maintenance routine, and I'll continue buying them.

Great product and great value

I’ve been using these Flow Treat Tabs for my HVAC drain line, and they’ve worked well overall. The tablets are easy to drop into the drain line and seem to help keep it clear while reducing musty odors. It’s a simple maintenance step that gives me peace of mind. The only reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that the tablets dissolve a little more slowly than I expected, and the instructions could be a bit more detailed for first-time users. That said, they do the job, and I would purchase them again as part of my regular HVAC maintenance routine.

Everybody should put two tablets in their AC handler drain pan two or three times a weekto keep the drain line clear. I guess AC techs don’t tell you about this so that you have to call them and pay for them to clean your drain line.

We bought these Flow Treat Tabs to try and manage the severe scale and slime buildup in our evaporative swamp cooler. Because our local water is incredibly hard, a nasty film usually returns to the top tray within just a few days of a deep cleaning. After dropping the first two tablets in, I am pleasantly surprised by how well they are working! Here is my honest household experience: •Excellent Hard Water Defense: I did a deep clean before adding the tablets, and so far, the hard water buildup has not returned at all. It completely stops the slime, and it has also kept the water from developing any stale smells. •Bonus Temperature Drop: Amazingly, right after dropping the tablets in, the temperature on the swamp cooler actually dropped, and it has been blowing noticeably cooler air ever since. •The Tablet Size: The tablets were a bit larger than I initially expected when ordering, but they fit fine and dissolve perfectly. •Heavy Safety Warning: Please be extremely careful and keep these completely sealed and far out of reach of children and pets! The moment you open the lid, there is a very strong chemical smell. The packaging states that the formula is non-toxic and non-corrosive, but it features a mountain of warning labels for handling. I highly recommend wearing gloves or washing your hands immediately after touching them. Fortunately, once the tablets are actually dropped down into the water, you cannot smell them in the air at all. They work great for hard water scaling, as long as you handle them responsibly!

Been usiing for a couple of years with great results in keeping the slime down here in flori-DUH! Got these for my neighbor who had to spend a hundred to get an AC company to just blow out his slime from the lines.
