Review: Don’t live in keyboard darkness any longer! - This is my second Keychron board. I also purchased a K10 Max with Super Brown switches that I love. The aluminum case is heavy and solid. The key shapes are more formed that the K10 Max, and the typing sound is slightly more quiet compared to the K10. I do love the color scheme of the keys, but I’m also a fan of the K10 grey with orange accents on the return and esc keys, too. I use it wired, but have also tried the Bluetooth and 2.4hz dongle. Both work well, but I prefer the wired connections for the launcher app mode. Compared to the Logitech MX Mechanical, this keyboard (and the K10 Max) are entirely superior and create a next level, premium typing and excel experience. Honestly, I was hesitant to buy such an expensive keyboard, but now I wish I’d bought it much sooner! If you’re on the fence, just buy it. You won’t regret it and you’ll wonder why you were living in keyboard darkness for so long.
Review: Wonderful, expensive keyboard, but heavvvvy! - Oh this keyboard is just wonderful to type on! It's buttery smooth with the brown switches, and it sounds so solid and "thocky" when typing on it. Was worried about it not having a way to adjust the typing angle, but it's perfect for me. Depending on where you use it, this could be a pro or a con. For me, it's a pro--this thing is solid and *heavy*. It doesn't slide around uncontrollably on your desk like a $20 basic keyboard which is good. It stays put because it's as heavy and solid as a brick. Being so solid, it makes everything you type seem important and purposeful. But, the weight means that you're not moving this thing around much, and don't even think of traveling with it. It ain't gonna happen! Of course, nothing is perfect, but this keyboard is pretty close for me. My primary annoyance after using it daily for a couple of weeks is the placement of the knob. I use it for its default purpose which is to adjust the system's volume. Being stuck in the middle of the top row of keys it's very awkward to use. There's just not enough room from the surrounding keys to use it comfortably or easily. It's like trying to use boat oars as chop sticks to pickup a grain of rice. I wish there was a way for Keychron to have positioned it at the edge of the keyboard so that using it isn't restricted by the close proximity of the surrounding keys. A knob is better than using a key shortcut, but in this case, only very slightly better. The unfortunately-placed knob aside, everything else about the keyboard is exceptional. Is it economical to buy? Absolutely not. Is it worth every penny? Would I buy it again. Yeah, I very much would. As long as it lasts at least 5 years then I won't have any regrets about shelling out the dollars for this premium mechanical keyboard with a premium typing experience..

### ⭐ Thoroughly test large keys on receipt, assembly quality is poor and stabilizers have issues.
*by A***E on January 28, 2026*

Keyboard is hefty and feels sturdy, could potentially double as a home defense weapon. Keycaps out of the box were a little tall for my liking but high quality and the switches felt nice, I felt no need to replace them. Unfortunately, the space bar and numpad enter key stick. On review, it looks like there's an issue with the stabilizers on those two sepecific keys, which stay lifted when pulled up with tweezers. Ruled out the switch and keycaps by porting them over to another board and testing them with no stick. Chances are the framework underneath is either overlubed or not set properly, but halfway through disassembling the full keyboard, I got frustrated with it not matching any of their official documentation's videos - part of this is due to the wireless functionality, which has a battery in the back. This cable is somewhat easily unseated allowing you to continue, only to find more such inconsistencies every few minutes, on what is already an extremely time consuming process. A couple of searches seem to suggest this is a very common problem and that the suggested fix is a full disassembly and cleaning and relubing them. For this pricetag, this is absolutely not worth the effort, so probably just going to return it or throw it out. Awful first impression of Keychron. Edit: Possibly due to anger and or brain problems, I proceeded with the disassembly anyway. Yes, the stabalizers are overlubed, so badly that it looks chunky, as shown in the (blurry, crappy) attached picture. It's possible that this can be fixed by doing the same for the spacebar's one, cleaning them and relubing them, and this would be understandable for a cheap keyboard. This is not a cheap keyboard. The amount of time wasted on this has shattered all possible value perspective, so unless you have infinite time and don't mind fixing manufacturer issues, I'd avoid Keychron.
