It was to replace a previous unit of the same manufacture that I gave to my son. They appear to be good, accurate meters which are clear and easy to use. This item was not in desertcart packaging, it was in the manufacturers packaging, and had unfortunately had an desertcart adhesive shipping label stuck to the outside of the box thereby obliterating the information and diagrams shown on the outer carton…… really intelligent thinking by someone. The reverse of the box was also damaged and badly marked. As the unit is for my use, I won’t return it, however, if you buy one with the intention to gift it, I suggest you request desertcart packaging. Plus manual and control solution. **Q: Where do i get some more control solution for the test strips?** A: From the Gluco themselves. Their information should have been with your monitoring system.
