Once You're Mine: A Dark Stalker Romance (Possessing Her)

She literally got my attention in Chapter 1. Then it slows down so we can get to know the characters. Details Details. I love it. Dark Stalker Romance for sure but hot damn 😥 Hayden is such a smooth talker any female would swoon over him and he’s kinda hot/scary romantic.Whew! He’s clearly the one to fall in love first she consumes his whole life. He’s possessive and bossy! 🤤. Definitely some hints of cat and mouse in the book. You definitely see a lot of character development from Hayden it’s like Calista is his antidote. But now he’s put two and two together that she may actually be in danger not by him but someone that was connected to his mothers own death (OD). Calista (Callie) is finally putting two and two together and is taken it heart of what he has done. Realizing he was her stalker and took her pearl necklace. This book is well written and I loved it honestly. I read it in two hours. I couldn’t believe I zoomed threw it. I just hope the last book is a lot of smut because this gonna be a long ride for then🤣. Callie is a victim of a date rape drug and possibly raped she definitely was beaten. She hasn’t really told her story yet which I’m sure will come out in book 2. This book does have me going threw emotions because when Hayden’s darkest secrets come to light besides being her stalker. What will she do probably run. I don’t want to go into detail because I feel like I spoiled enough. Is Callie safe my question is there gonna be a HUGE TWIST in book 2? Like I want to know who did it? Why? How will Callie react when his Dark Secret comes out or will he take it to his grave? The Ex have something to do with it? Will the best friend betray her? Sooo many questions! This book literally leaves me wanting me to have MORE and Morgan is giving me bread crumbs! Book two doesn’t even come out until 10/29. I think I just found me another book boyfriend! Definitely read trigger warnings and hopefully book two is a little more darker and explore more smut. This doesn’t pertain to the book but Morgan does reply to her readers in her plate forms of media. For that I’m greatly grateful that she took the time out to reply too. I did have a fan girl moment ♥️

This is easily 3.5 stars. The cliff hanger at the end *chefs kiss* You can feel the intensity between Callie and Hayden, but for me the real favorite is definitely Harper. The book, for me, starts off a little slow. It's a fast read but how Hayden talks in the beginning made me feel a little bored. Hayden is obviously intelligent. The way the author has him speak definitely portrays that side. It does get better throughout the book. Callie, or Calista, is a sweet girl who's lost her father. She went from being the pampered but kind senators daughter, to a very penniless woman struggling to survive. She has little to no confidence and has severe anxiety. I'd say that between the spice and the plot it's not bad. There are times it felt smut heavy but it followed along with the plot so it worked. Reasons it's not a 4 for me is there are a few editing mistakes in the book. Nothing terrible, a mispelling, a word that didn't make since in the sentence. Those kind of things. It's not mistake heavy but I noticed a few. I'm usually a little apprehensive about these types of books. The super obsessed ones, but this one wasn't terrible. I read this due to my old co workers starting a book group and inviting me to join. I'm glad I read it. Is it one I'll buy the physical copy of? I'm not sure. If I enjoy the second book in this series I'll probably pick it up. Reading this pros: there were times I laughed, times I felt the butterflies with Callie, times my chest hurt from understanding the pain she felt. I loved how Harper had a new name for Hayden everytime she talked about him. The author did a good job of trying to keep the book both smutty and interesting. I'm always a tad apprehensive about this genre only because obviously this is red flag behavior. Super fun to read and pretend that this is ok but totally different if this were to happen to anyone in real life. I think that's why this particular genre struggles to get a higher rating solely because women are nervous someone might read this and think it's ok. Obviously not the authors fault, reading is subjective. This may not be a book for you and that's ok. At the end of the day I'll read anything once! On to book 2!

This book waa good but not one of my favorites. The insta-love was too much for me and Callie wasnt my favorite heroine. I did like Hayden though

This book has been on my TBR for awhile. Now that I’ve finally got a chance to read it, I was not disappointed. Such a crazy story, but I didn’t like being left on a cliffhanger because now I need to hurry and read the second book. Overall, this was such a well written story and I highly recommend it.

This was a fast paced, sexy, unrealistic but the vibes were immaculate read! The FMC is dumb. Like, what do you mean who is your stalker?🤣 There’s only one suspect and it’s insanely obvious. The MMC was obsessive and possessive and what more could you really want from your red flag men?🥰 The plot line is silly but really the whole book is. Harper is the most real character in this book. I loved this book purely based on vibes. It was quick, fun, and I enjoyed it. I’ll definitely finish out the duology.

OH MY DAAAAAAAYS! Can I get a Bennet! LOL! No seriously, talk about book boyfriends! I couldn’t stop reading it from the moment I picked it up to the time I stopped the second book! ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT!

Wow!! I so enjoyed this dark stalker romance and I couldn't put it down! Hayden is an attorney by day and seeks justice at night. He has never been as obsessed with a woman until he meets Calista. This book is steamy and it shows how obsessed Hayden is and what he will do to keep Calista by his side. She is is forever. I can't wait to read the 2nd book in this series! Totally Hot!!

It was okay not one of my favorites. Still enjoyed.

The condition of the book came pristine throughout (spine, edges flawless). Theres no annoying stickers whatsoever on the book cover itself (inside or out) (i plastic wrapped mine for longevity).
