This is almost a must have. Is there is an appropriate spot on your console this is by far the best phone mount for the car. It sticks reliably to a smooth surface and tilts in multiple directions to create an ideal view of the phone. The magnet is more than sufficient to grip the phone without concern of it releasing even under tight turns. The build is metal and quite solid. It is also simple to charge the phone with a charging cable while it’s attached to this mount. All pros, no cons.

Title: This Magnet Has More Grit Than I Do in Texas Traffic 😂 Review: After my plastic phone holder broke, I wanted something different—especially something that wasn't going to cook in the Texas sun. I decided to try this one, and so far, I'm really happy with it. I don't have a MagSafe phone case; mine is a silicone-type case from Velvet Caviar. This mount came with two magnets, so my spouse and I each have one. I followed the directions to install the magnet on my case, and it went on perfectly. It hasn't come off at all and honestly feels like the case came with it. Because of the unique dashboard design in my Nissan Ariya, I installed the mount near the push-start button. Installation was straightforward and easy. I've been using it for about a week and a half, and the magnet is strong. Even with my phone positioned vertically, it doesn't move around. My drives are usually pretty smooth, but I've had a few sudden stops thanks to some questionable Texas drivers 😂, and my phone stays put like a champ. I'm also really impressed with the adhesive so far. We've had temperatures around 104°F, and my car has a black interior, so it gets really hot inside. The adhesive hasn't moved, lifted, or loosened at all. Another thing I specifically like is that the mount is all metal rather than plastic. After having a plastic phone holder break, that was a big selling point for me. It feels much sturdier, and I don't have to worry about the arm becoming soft or warping in the Texas heat. You can actually feel how strong the magnet is when you pull the phone off—the connection is firm, but it's not difficult to remove. I'm also adding a photo of the magnet installed on my phone case so you can see what it looks like. So far, I'm definitely a fan. I much prefer this over the plastic holder I had before.

Bought 2 of these because of the great quality. Holds my iphone pro max securely with minimal movement while driving. Great magnets that hold phone securely in place. The base of the mount has very strong adhesive and is not going to come off. I will be buying another one for a 3rd car.

Great slim design car mount with very strong magnet for decent price. However, the 3M stickers don’t hold the mount & keep coming half unstuck. Think I will try putting superglue between the adhesive stickers or buy new stickers.

I REALLY like the universal design of this product. The joints are very firm and hold well. I wanted to give this a 5-star rating, but I can't because the included 3M adhesive pads just didn't hold. I followed and exceeded the instructions to the letter: clean with alcohol pad, let dry 15 seconds, press mount with adhesive pads for 10 seconds, wait at least 5 hours before use - but it didn't last a day. So, I tried again with the extra adhesive pad that was included (that was a good thing) and pressed longer and let it dry for more than 24 hours. But it only lasted 2 days. Fortunately, I still had extra 3M adhesive pads I had bought for my previous phone mount (pads bought on Amazon: 10 Pcs Sticky Adhesive Pads for Car Magnetic Phone Holder, 1 inch Round Double Sided Tape). But NOTE: the instructions for these were quite different: press for 30 - 60 seconds (I did 120) and let dry for 24-48 hours before use (I let it dry for 72 hours). I had to cut up two or three of these to fit the base, but after more than a week it's still holding! If you buy this mount, I recommend using the longer times mentioned above when you mount this, but of course I can't say if this will work as I had used up the originals. So, be prepared to buy better pads for this mount. And Syncwire, if you're reading this, please make corrections appropriately. This was an avoidable issue.

Works great! I’m very happy with this product. I was impressed by its weight and how strong it feels. It holds my phone with no problem, even driving on rough terrain and holds its position well too. I haven’t needed to readjust it unless I wanted to watch a video or something. Was easy to install too. You do need a pretty smooth surface or it won’t hold so keep in mind if you have a rough or porous dash. I bought two of these. One in my vehicle and the other for my dad’s vehicle. Stuck like glue in mine but his took some creative effort since his dash was rougher. I attached a piece of smooth plastic to his dash then attached the syncwire. Works perfect now. You MUST install in the shade and don’t place any weight on it for 5 hours to allow allow the adhesive pad to set. After that I had no problems. It’s well made and strong. Very durable. Adjusts to multiple angles for multiple uses. TIP: when adjusting angle or direction, hold the base while adjusting with other hand to make sure there are no issues with it coming loose. I plan to buy another one for my daughter’s car!

This mount offers by far the strongest dashboard adhesion I’ve experienced..it hasn't lost its stickiness at all. The primary limitation is the magnetic connection: it lacks the power to hold the phone securely through a case. While removing the case solves the magnetic issue, exposing the phone to direct heat on the dashboard causes it to overheat quickly. Repositioning the mount to a cooler location in the vehicle is required to make it fully functional.
