Works as advertised
I work for the post office as a letter carrier in Texas, and the summers here are absolutely BRUTAL. Ive heard good things about neck cooling fans from friends so I did my homework. After I read the features on this model, specifically the COOLING features, and watching some product review videos with some competitors, I didn't hesitate to make the purchase. After the product arrived, I did a quick read through of the manual. Very easy to understand, interface is very straightforward. I've opted to not use the app at this time however, I see no reason for an app to need location information permission, especially in this context, which is unfortunate; there's an auto feature that's advertised to control temperatures based on various parameters. I suppose this was in response to the competitor, the ranvoo aice 3 having an "ai" feature that did something similar. I'm not sure from a technical standpoint how the hardware adjusts settings, that part seemed murky. Since it's just so hot outside for me anyway, not having the auto feature available without using the app isn't a deal breaker, I just set the cooler settings to max manually. Functionally, if you're wondering if this product actually "cools" then, yes, absolutely it does. When your outside in dramatic heat, youre clothes, hat, etc still feel hot, but that dramatic build up of intense body heat is dramatically reduced. For those who work outside for a living, you know that point when your body is just heat soaked and you need to stop and take a break somewhere cool, this product definitely helps your body maintain normal temperatures. When you get into a vehicle or building that has ac, this neck cooler will have a NOTICEABLE impact on how fast you recover. (You're still going to get hot, but it does help.) This thing is also pretty tight around your neck, but it does a good job of staying in place where you want it. Youre either adjusting it more for casual wearing comfort, or you might wear it in a more restrictive manner to get the cooling plates and the fans exactly where you can appreciate them more on a very hot day. If you have considerably large diameter neck, the fitment may bother you, and you might want to consider the larger Ranvoo. As far as recommendations, Id like Torras to consider coming out with with some kind of washable fabric liner. Obviously you want this to be as close to your skin as possible to appreciate the cooling effect, but where the cooling plates are in the inside collar, it's just smooth plastic, and it's in direct contact with your skin and there's no airflow for your skin to breath. Maybe in future iterations Torras can find a way to implement airflow so you don't feel like this thing is sticking to your neck but benefit from the cooling still. I haven't tested any other products in this category, overall, I say it does it's job well. I don't like the feeling it's sticking to your neck and I wonder if there's other products that have stronger fans (I almost have to wear it in such a way its hugging the bottom of my jaw to appreciate airflow to my ears where I'd prefer to have air to) but again, this is the context that you're outside in extreme heat anyway, with cooler temperatures you'll notice a nice, comfortable breeze surround your neck, face. If you're a professional working outside, hiking, doing yardwork in the summer, taking kids to an outdoor event all day, running errands and getting in and out of a hot vehicle constantly, this is a game changer, and you'll want to integrate this into your lifestyle. Especially with heat records constantly being broken. That being said, if it's a moderate to nice day out and you just want to use the fan, you'll have a long run time for all day use. Not many products in this category have a cooling feature and that comes at a price. You will want a power bank.. You'll get two hours on max settings, tops. I hope Torras continues to innovate in this space and approach it with the mindset that this is truly a wellness device. I doubt any other product in this category would hold up as well.

I hate this
Is mine broken? I keep getting ads now for how it's a portable A/C with icy cold air and I call shenanigans!!! 1). This never gave anything but air and a hint of a neck cooling on the plates which could have just been the feel of the metal or my imagination. It was such a non-existent fleeting sensation. Again, almost like a hint of cold- even when inside with 75°F temperature It was not icy or cool or anything worth wearing. I could have got cooler from just letting neck sweat, evaporate and cool. One $5 cool scarf would have put this whole device to shame. 2) I didn't like their app, compared to the product support they have on their neck belt, this one is clunky the way they show you how to use it and the app itself is not worth it and it tracks your location. Who needs that? It didn't even have directions in English. It only had directions in one other language in the app. Why you need a separate whole app to just change which fan is blowing? Seems ridiculous. The app had several problems. It wouldn't allow me to create a login account, It would ask you for a password, a username and then send a code to your phone which then it locked up. I tried three different times and it took 35 minutes to resend each code that expires in less than a minute (!!) and doesn't work. That too was frustrating. I was never successful at creating an account and so I finally chose skip and just then saw the app and was very disappointed. 3) I cycled through all the options and I didn't see much change except which fan was blowing. It never got cool - let alone icy cold. Forget that idea. Again, is mine broken? Is it just a crappy fake product? I read all the reviews carefully and I want to explain that I use this in Phoenix, Arizona on an extremely cool, very windy spring day temp of 80°F to 83° Fahrenheit 26 or 27° C. The afternoon wind that was intermittently blowing was four times colder and cooler than what I was working with on the neck fan or the belt fan which I got both. This would never survive the 120° F heat ever. It would be a monstrosity to wear this and again you could just pack a cool scarf or two and you'd be in better shape than with this device. I'm glad we had a cool down here and I didn't try to use this with the real summer heat or it would have been the opposite of helpful. 4) It lasted approximately an hour on a full charge. 5) The ad stated that if you bought two devices you could save $60 to $80 but it was never clear where you would get this discount. I reached out to the company and a week plus later I got no response. I also tried with Amazon giving me a ticket, escalating the question how to get the discount that's shown on the listing and promising 24-hour escalation response but even a week later still no response. I tried again yesterday when I finally ordered it without the code and Amazon support told me to just don't worry they would fix it but they haven't fixed it. Still it's been 24 hours and they made me talk to over six different agents, ignored the initial ticket number that they gave me a week and a half ago, made me call in in the middle of the chat for no reason and then gave me another person to start over with - this was the worst buying experience that I've ever had on Amazon hands down. I still don't have the discount. I think that this should be advertised as a cooling fan. Nothing that says AC or icy cold air because it's just the same as if I put a little fan on my neck. 6) It has an intermittent buzzing staticky sound that comes on and off for minutes at a time, and if you are an audiophile, will not be fun. You will struggle to hear your music over this weird buzzing sound in addition to the fan noise. 7) I rarely get headaches and go years without headaches and this gave me a headache. Not just the whole experience and actual headache from the device that I made sure wasn't dehydration or anything because it went away after I took it off for a few minutes and then I hydrated 30 minutes later so it was definitely the device.

Coollify Cyber is awesome!
I work outdoors with kids, and during the hotter months, the heat can get intense—humid, blazing, and downright exhausting. Staying cool isn’t just about comfort; it’s a necessity to keep up with the pace and stay safe under the sun. The Coolify Cyber might seem large but its barely noticeable around my neck. I actually thought it was a lot more compact than others I've used in the past. The cooling performance makes it worth it, especially when you're chasing after kids or supervising outdoor activities in the sun. Of course, that extra cooling power uses more battery. In my experience, it lasts about 3 hours on full blast. But here’s a pro tip: you don’t need to run it at 100% to feel the difference. At around 70%. I get around 1:30/2 hours of runtime with the neck cooling on low to med, but the good news is the Cyber charges quickly and can even be used while plugged into a power bank. That’s been a lifesaver on long days outdoors—I just toss a power bank in my bag, and I’m set for the whole day. As for the noise level, it doesn’t bother me at all, though that can vary by personal preference. What I really appreciate is the high-quality build. It’s held up well in heat and hectic days outside. Plus, it pairs with the Torras app but I haven't had much need in using it. And for winter? It can heat but haven't used that feature in this CA weather. If you’re looking for something for outdoor use where there’s usually some natural airflow, one of the other Coolify models might be enough—and they’re easier on the wallet. But if staying cool is your top priority, the Cyber is definitely the way to go.

Great Product, With a Few Flaws
This fan, after multiple uses at the Universal theme parks over the past year since I purchased it, has been a lifesaver from the heat. After learning about this company through their sponsorship of the 2024 Summer Olympics, I took a risk purchasing this rather expensive product in hopes that it would help alleviate some of the discomfort of going to any theme parks in the Orlando area in the middle of the dog days of summer. That risk has paid off massively to the point where I've gone and purchased a second one so I can share with a friend while walking around the theme parks. To start with the good, the unit itself is decently compact, and the carrying case is a pretty robust hard case that zips open and closed without the zippers themselves getting stuck. The fan itself feels well put together, with good-quality materials in the hands. When worn around the neck, the 3 individual cooling zones hug tight to the skin, and it doesn't weigh like a brick, so it's truly comfortable to wear all day if needed. The individual fans in the 3 cooling zones are also quite powerful and generate a strong breeze when at full power, which is a lifesaver when there is no natural breeze while walking around a theme park. It doesn't take long either for the whole thing to charge, going from 0% to 100% in about 1-1/2 hours when plugged into a quality USB-C charger. Now for the few cons I've discovered while using this product. To start, do not expect the air that comes out of the fan on the maximum cooling setting to be 'ice cold' air, as if it were from an air conditioner. This uses Peltier or thermoelectric cooling plates inside to mildly chill or heat the air before it comes out of the vent holes and is blown into your face, giving it little time actually to cool or heat the air, so the temperature of the air coming out is only a few degrees cooler than the ambient air around you. Secondly, the fan, if you have longer hair, does occasionally snag a few strands, as my friend who has longer hair noticed when she wore it. The fan, while offering multiple fan speeds and heating and cooling settings baked in at the press of the mode and power buttons on the right arm, requires the companion Torras Cooling app from the Google Play Store or App Store for full control. Pairing the fan via Bluetooth can be fiddly; it took me a few attempts to pair it with a Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra. It's fine once it is paired, even after being turned off for months and then just using it one day. The one big drawback of this fan, though, is the battery life. At maximum fan speed and cooling across all 3 zones, it will last only 2 hours at best. That is nothing compared to how long a person can be expected to be in a theme park, as I've done, going from park opening till closing, which for Universal can be from 8 AM to 9 PM with early park admission. This is largely due to the Peltier/thermoelectric coolers used in the fan, which are known to be horrifically inefficient and can use only 5-15% of the input power for cooling, with the rest wasted as heat. There is a workaround, though, for the battery life issue if you're willing to carry around a large battery bank in a backpack or bag. The fan has a rated battery capacity of about 6,000 mAh, which is a bit larger than the battery on flagship IOS or Android smartphones. The fan can also be charged as it's being used. The USB-C charging port is on the right arm, so with a 90° right-angle USB-C cable and a high-capacity battery bank of ideally 20,000 mAh or above, the battery life can be extended to 8+ hours of continuous use at full cooling. I have a 60,000 mAh battery bank that can, in theory, keep the unit running for over 20 hours straight. Overall, I would highly recommend this product for anyone who goes to theme parks or wants to spend time outdoors but doesn't want to suffer from the heat, apart from the few issues I've described. I would give this 4.5 stars if I could, but Amazon doesn't allow half-star ratings.

Cools but not for long.
Quality: It looks cool, feels cool to touch at first, though the buttons are kinda in a weird spot to get used to at first. Also the LCD is in a weird spot and should have the ability to turn off to conserve energy. I rarely looked at the screen because I cant bend my head like that. Comfort: Its okay, its tight and it does feel cool at first, but after running for about 30 minutes the outside got hot and everytime I bent my head down and my chin touched the outside, it did burn a bit. I guess its because its exerting the heat from the cool pad on the inside to the outer shell but im surprised they didnt think of that. Battery life: The battery life just didn't seem to live to long, I wish I could have turned the lcd off to maybe conserve some but I felt like I just got a couple hours outta mine until it turned off and the disappointment kicking in. Honestly, im sure it has its uses and maybe me trying to stay cool with it in my work enviroment wasn't the brightest idea, but for the price point it did kinda let me down.

The good, the bad, and the chilly.
I’ve had this for a little over a year now and let me just preface this with the fact that I live in Florida so even your typical compression cycle air conditioners have trouble keeping you cool during the almost half a year of 1000% Humidity at 110° F. The fan does exactly as advertised, the little metal plates on the inside get cold pretty fast and it kind of feels like wearing an ice pack around your neck. It’s not heavy so you can wear it all day without it being a burden but it does have enough weight and balance to it that I’ve never once had it just fall off my neck or spin around or anything stupid like that. It’s stays exactly in place through running or jumping or any kind of crazy dance you might break out for the hoes. Battery life is okay. I wait tables normally anywhere from 5-6 hour shifts and if I started a full charge running it on full blast I’d make it about halfway through my shift before it died and needed to be charged again BUT it does have the awesome feature of being able to be charged and worn/used at the same time but you specifically need a power bank that lets you use its usb-c port to charge other items. They include a usbc to usbc cable that has one side at a 90° angle to make it easy while you wear it. Here’s where it loses me a bit, the fan itself isn’t that strong at full blast which is a bit of a letdown considering that fans that loud are usually pushing a lot more air so the noise level is really high during use. The thing I’m most upset about is that one of the three metal cooling pads all of a sudden quit working entirely. It’s never been dropped on the ground, never gotten wet aside from the sweat on my neck it’s designed to come into contact with, and when not in use I’ve always stored it in its case, never left it in a hot car or any sort of environment that would cause it to fail prematurely like this. I’d probably still give it 5 stars had it not been for that.

Top notch but not a spacesuit
I’ve driven a concrete truck for 35 years, 34 in Las Vegas, I wish I’d have had this years ago it will prolong my life. It doesn’t make me feel like I’m in my air conditioned cab, if you need that buy a spacesuit, but it makes the extreme heat bearable, it works better when I’m in the shade and as far as battery life I do recommend getting a power bank if you’re using the cooling feature at a high level as I do. Charges fast after the initial charge and the case is really nice and provides great protection. The device itself is top notch and stays on my neck and is very comfortable, I’ve seen complaints that it’s heavy if that’s the case for you lift some weights and eat some meat or something I don’t even notice it. Very ergonomic and great for exercise, golf or hunting and camping or just chores around the house. Five stars from me.

Great for those that run hot and want to beat the heat.
Right out of the box, the Coolify Cyber impressed me with its premium feel and its excellent packaging (I really did not expect the opening experience to feel as nice as it does). Setup was a breeze: it paired effortlessly with my phone via Bluetooth, and the app seamlessly guided me through a firmware update, ensuring everything was up to date. Performance-wise, it works exceptionally well, with a sleek, low-profile design that doesn’t draw unnecessary attention. The fans are powerful but quiet, so they’re effective without being disruptive. And as someone who’s all-in on USB-C, I love that it charges with a single cable. So far, it’s been a fantastic addition to my daily routine! Some additional notes from real world use during the 100 degree heat wave: I agree with other commenters that the fan is most effective indoors or on public transportation. Outside, at least in hot and humid weather, it has a significantly reduced effect, even when run on full blast, so it can't beat everything (might as well run just on the fan to save battery). The cooling effect fighting the heat generates a good amount of condensation, so I highly recommend following the directions and cleaning off the neck areas regularly to prevent unwanted rashes. I also tried the heat function in rooms which were too cold inside and also found it to be quite pleasant and expect it will also help in winter. The weight is not especially significant, and the battery holds up well, ideally run at 80% to help extend the runtime. I have a portable battery, so I'm not especially worried if I need it longer, but without one it does need charging between commutes.
