NEBULA Capsule 3 Laser Outdoor Portable Mini Smart TV Projector

I have used multiple projectors in the past, including an earlier Nebula Capsule model. This projector is almost perfect- well-priced, portable, full HD, excellent sound, with in-built Google TV offering all possible streaming options. The battery, even on standard brightness setting, lasts for at least 2 hours. The 200 ansi lumens brightness is good for a dark room but in ambient light, not adequate. So, don't expect much in daylight or ambient lighting but in dark room settings, it delivers a great home cinema experience!

To bardzo dobry projektor do oglądania filmów w domu z rodziną lub przyjaciółmi, na jasnej ścianie lub w łóżku na suficie. Dzięki Google TV nie trzeba podłączać żadnych dodatkowych urządzeń. Oczywiście trzeba pamiętać jakiej klasy jest to urządzenie. Jest to mały przenośny projektor, który w dodatku jest niezbyt jasny. Oglądanie w ciągu dnia jest raczej niemożliwe, chyba że wyświetlając mały ekran (około 40-50 cali). Bliżej mu do głośnika BT z wbudowanym projektorem niż do typowego projektora. Ale to nie jest wada. Po prostu jest to urządzenie proste do użycia, które pozwala zrobić małe kino tam gdzie jest kawałek ściany. Jeśli o tym pamiętamy to wtedy w ciemnych pomieszczeniach lub najlepiej po prostu w nocy, otrzymujemy fajny, duży obraz. Dla mnie to już mój 3 projektor. Wcześniej byłem przeciwnikiem takich rozwiązań jak keystone. Uważałem, że pogarszają one jakość obrazu, szczególnie gdy projektor ma matrycę o niskiej rozdzielczości (720p i niżej). W Capsule 3 keystone i autofocus są świetne. Obraz automatycznie dostosowuje się do pola na ścianie. Dlatego nie trzeba męczyć się z lokalizacją projektora, przesuwaniem go czy podkładaniem książek. Trzeba ustawić go tylko w miarę prosto, a resztę zrobi sam. Również dźwięk jest bardzo dobry. Chociaż jest to tylko głośnik mono, wystarczy do nagłośnienia seansu dla kilku osób. Aczkolwiek można podłączyć zewnętrzne głośniki jeśli ktoś potrzebuje. Ja używam wbudowanego. Projektor ma mały wiatraczek, ale na razie w ogóle go nie słychać.

Now let's get this disclaimer out of the way first: it only works in a dark room, so don't think you're getting a £4000 laser projector. But if your room is dark enough (and by this I mean almost completely dark) and you have enough space to place this 3.5m away from the wall (there's no optical zoom) you'll get a massive 120" picture with plenty of detail and more than adequate brightness and contrast. The picture is plenty good enough for all but the darkest of movies (but these would also look dark on most TVs). For its relatively tiny size it packs a punch! It's about the size of a pint-size can of drink and this includes a speaker (which is OK if you're not fussy but I carry an external Bluetooth speaker for better sound) and a battery that lets you watch it in ECO mode (half brightness) for suppisedly 2.5h, or a tad over an hour in standard mode (full brightness) although I haven't done a duration test. ECO mode is not dramatically dimmer than standard and if the room is pitch black it'll still deliver a decent picture, especially if you have it closer to the wall which gives you a reduced screen size. It weighs a tad more than said can of soft drink (around 800g) I travel all the time and this has a permanent place in my cabin bag. The connectivity of little beast is brilliant: it's designed to run Google home, Netflix etc natively which is awesome because it makes it a standalone media centre, but if you're offline you can also cast your screen from another device or even stick a USB stick in it and play it worth an android media player (you can install apps like you would on an android phone). Nifty! I almost forgot the remote! At first I didn't think much of it because you can control the projector with the touch buttons on the top of the unit (which is cumbersome and only good as a backup) or from your phone through the Nebula app (good for typing although the keyboard doesn't seem to work in the YouTube app). However once I started using it I quickly became fond of it because it's small enough that you don't feel it's in your bag and it's easier to operate in the dark than your phone. The most important buttons light up for a moment when you pick it up and you can operate it by feel once you memorise the buttons). Now I'm going to be to almost unreasonably picky and list some complaints just to make this review a bit more balanced: sometimes the response to commands from the remote inexplicably slows down and it's frozen on me once, although a restart sorted it. Internal storage could be much better in an era where storage is cheap. For the price I would have expected at least 32GB, but 64 or 128GB would have been more in line with where the product sits in its market tier. Instead there's a measly 16GB of memory which is barely enough for a couple of FHD 1080p movies and 3-4 episodes of a series. It will do you for a short break or a movie night when you don't have access to or don't want to faff connecting to WiFi or Internet. You can of course still cast from your phone/tablet but you then can't use it for any other tasks while watching. The projector, charger and a 3m cable I bought separately for £7 fit perfectly in the seminrigid case my Gopro 10 came in so takes up minimal space. About the charger: my unit came with not one but two 65w chargers (each with a different plug, UK and Euro), which is pretty cool because these things cost about £30 to buy and I'd just bought a laptop that came without a charger and this charges it at full-speed, as does my phone. The USB C cable it comes with is kind of short, OK for recharging it but I like to run mine off external power to use it at full brightness. A 3m lead usually does the trick but I also carry another 3m one and a USB C female to female adaptor that has never not been long enough even if the power sockets is across the room. I picked mine up during a sale for £430 and while it's no replacement for a TV (which I haven't owned for 20 years and I have no interest in having) this may well be the purchase of the year. I can throw it in a small man bag and bring a cinema to a friend's house, or watch movies on a cinema-like screen in a hotel room (I now choose a hotel based on the size of the wall opposite the bed ha!) Usability-wise it's plenty adequate out of the box, but with a long power lead and an external speaker (and some good curtains) this thing gets closer to a home cinema than its size and price would suggest. Thumbs up.

Jag har aldrig haft en projektor förut och var orolig över "enbart" 200 ansi-lumen och att den inte skulle fungera om det inte var totalt mörklagt. Men oj vad fel jag hade. Visst, bilden är kanske inte "perfekt" med lite ljusinsläpp men i mina ögon så märker jag inte av detta. Det är en stor skärm och jag njuter. Jag har använt denna på min husbil, på min veranda och i mitt sovrum. Superenkelt att ta med sig överallt. Jag har den på en tripod så att jag enkelt kan vinkla den upp och ner. Jag har även en powerbank och kan därmed se några timmar. Bilden är kanon. Ljudet fungerar. Lite knasigt när projektorn är bakom en och ljudet kommer därifrån dock. Men det är ju bara att koppla till en annan ljudkälla om så önskas. Jag upplever dock små hackningar (stuttering) i bilden när jag streamar Prime, Max och Viaplay. Det känns som att hela enheten blir slö och detta märks tydligt när jag justerar volymen för då tar det tid och bilden nästan fryser. Den fungerar klockrent med svt play och Netflix. Nu vet inte jag om detta beror på enheten eller Google TV. Jag såg igår att den uppdaterade både Viaplay och Prime. Och efter detta så fungerade Prime bra. Resten har jag inte hunnit pröva än. En gång tidigare så började fläkten gå på högvarv och sen stängdes enheten av pga överhettning. En engångsföreteelse hoppas jag. Överlag är jag väldigt nöjd med min enhet. Förhoppningsvis upphör hackningarna i bilden efter uppdateringar. Annars får jag nog lämna tillbaks den. Som sagt är detta min första projektor och har ju inget att jämföra med men jag är supernöjd! UPPDATERING: överhettningsproblemet fortsatte och efter en kontakt med Anker i Tyskland, så fick jag skicka tillbaka den och fick en helt ny (de stod för frakten). Denna gång fanns det även en muteknapp på fjärrkontrollen och nu fungerar den utan problem! Suverän!

Durch begrenzten Platz wollte man auf den TV im Schlafzimmer verzichten, Ziel war ein kleiner und günstiger Beamer als Ersatz. Es ist klar das man bei günstigen Geräten kein HighEnd kriegt das war aber auch nicht unser Ziel. Vor diesem Modell hatte man zwei günstigere Zuhause, aus der +/-200€ Klasse der erste und billigste war eine pure Enttäuschung, der zweite war besser jedoch gab es Kleinigkeiten die einen störten. Durch den super Amazon Service und Retoure der beiden legte man noch was drauf um dieses Modell sich zu gönnen, was zu dem Zeitpunkt im Angebot war. Ersteindruck/Einrichtung: Erwartungsvoll wurde der Beamer bei Ankunft sofort ausgepackt und getestet. Das Gehäuse ist vernünftig verarbeitet macht sofort einen guten Eindruck. Die Einrichtung ging gut von der Hand trotz das man ein reiner Apple Haushalt ist. Automatische Einstellungen: Das der Beamer alles automatisch einstellt das gefällt uns sehr gut, so ist der Beamer überall schnell aufgebaut. Der Automatische Fokus und die automatische Trapezkorrektur auch mit der Hindernis Erkennung funktionieren wunderbar. Einzig wenn man den Zoom benutzt um das Bild zu verkleinern muss man manuell nachjustieren. Bild/Ton: Das Bild ist laut unserem Apple TV FullHD mit HDR10, das Bild gefällt uns soweit gut. Nur im Zoom lässt die Qualität etwas nach, das macht sich an der Schrift gut bemerkbar. Der Ton ist vernünftig, es ist kein Heimkino oder Bass lastig verstehen aber alles klar und deutlich und das Bild hat eine gute Helligkeit. Für uns persönlich für das Schlafzimmer ist es genau richtig. Anschlüsse/Schnittstellen: Der Beamer hat soweit alles an Board was man braucht über USB-C zum Laden, als auch USB-A für Sticks mit Filmen, als auch HDMI Anschluss für z.B. in unserem Fall ein AppleTV und einen Aux Eingang für z.B. eine Box. Bluetooth ist hier alternativ auch an Board für eine Bluetooth Box, man kann aber auch sein Handy per Bluetooth koppeln und den Beamer selbst per Knopfdruck als Bluetooth Box nutzen. Auf dem Beamer ist GoogleTV installiert, persönlich bevorzugen wir hier unser AppleTv stationär, für den mobilen Einsatz ist das GoogleTV aber ok und bietet den Vorteil ohne Zusatzgerät nur mit einem Internet Hotspot vollwertig zu laufen. Fernbedienung/System: Die Fernbedienung ist gut verarbeitet, reagiert vernünftig und ist teilweise sogar beleuchtet, das Betriebssystem GoogleTv arbeitet in einer vernünftigen Geschwindigkeit. Fazit: Wir haben hier einen sehr kleinen Beamer mit einem intrigierten Akku und GoogleTV wo alle bekannten Streaming Dienste drauf laufen. Der weiterhin einen Lautsprecher intrigiert hat und alle gängigen Anschlüsse. Man darf hier keinen HighEnd Beamer erwarten, in der Preisklasse, in dieser Größe, mit dem technischen Umfang was hier geliefert wird, hat man ein tolles, mobiles und kleines Gerät. Haben hier mehr ausgegeben als geplant war aber wir haben auch gleichzeitig mehr bekommen als wir ursprünglich wollten. Bis hierhin 5* für ein super Gerät in einer ganz kleinen Bauform, Familie ist ebenfalls begeistert und überlegt auch einen anzuschaffen. Bei dem Preis hoffen wir auf eine gute Haltbarkeit wo wir aktuell aber keine Bedenken haben.
