Glad to have option to extend rear camera. Installed in pick-up truck and needed just a little more cable to reach rear of truck. (Note: Had used a lot of cable length when routing through cab/under dashboard area.)

it was needed for an escalade esv the provided wire was not long enough

I bought it for my mirror cam and it looks great but I return before opening it because the mirror came came with it own cable.

Works Great

Be careful. This is a 4 pin to 4 pin extension. If you are running from a backup camera, make sure that if your terminal end at the camera has is a 2.5mm jack and the original cable has your red backup wire, you will lose that function. You need a 2.5mm to 2.5 mm extension. The camera has a 4 pin connection only so your backup function is controlled by the main cable. If you do use it you can run a separate red wire extension along side it from the original cable to the backup light. You can cut, splice, and solder if you want as well. They do have one with the red wire extension, but it was not the one suggested as frequently bought together and I didn't see it in the store. It does appear to be in one of their package deals. How about selling camera, extension, hardwire set as well 🤔
