As much as I hate to admit it, I am middle aged :( My skin is starting to age a bit and I feel like I am now playing a game of "catch up" with anti-aging products at this point. I am trying to approach it from a multifaceted perspective: clean & healthy topical products as well as from the inside out. When I came across this algae and collagen supplement pair I thought I would try it out. There is an orange bottle (grass fed collagen/vitamin C/hyaluronic acid) and a Blue bottle (Aphanizomenon Flos-Aquae algae). Each bottle has 60 capsules. It's really easy to take, the collagen capsule dose is 2 per day and the algae is one capsule per day (3 total capsules per day). They recommend taking the collagen with a meal. I have been taking all of them together with my breakfast meal. The algae smells the way one would expect an algae supplement to smell. This aphanizomenon flos-aquae algae in the blue bottle has multiple health benefits including immune health, acts as anti-inflammatory and more. Collagen is a great source of protein and can help with joint pain and hair, skin and nail health. This brand seems reputable and this is a great value pack. They are an FDA registered GMP facility meaning they follow strict quality control standards and procedures to ensure we get a safe, accurate product, similar to way pharmaceuticals are manufactured. It is too soon to see any beauty benefits, but I have high hopes!

60 doses for AFA component; 30 two capsule doses for collagen component. Label of collagen component is erroneous - states that there are 60 two capsule doses (equivalent to 120 capsules). Further, the Supplement Facts do not list vitamin C. No mention of testing for either component. Type of collagen is not specified. I will provide any known benefits and side-effects I experience from each supplement I take personally; however, effects are often unapparent for many months - if at all - and differ for each person. For this reason, I choose to place more emphasis on product safety in my reviews and will point out weaknesses. An infusion of garlic in scotch - believe me when I say that it smelled and tasted exactly as you would imagine. For me, it is forever unforgettable. I endured a teaspoon dose of this once or twice a year from the time I was a toddler. It was followed by a teaspoon of sugar, but I soon learned that trying to run was fruitless. Just recently, I realized how necessary this may have been. Many areas of our city are at or below sea level. Whenever a heavy storm struck on an incoming tide, our street would flood and cars would stall. My friends and I would be overjoyed at the opportunity to make money pushing cars a few blocks to higher ground, so that they would start again. We made a fortune trudging through that sewerage and parasite infested water - never giving a thought to our peril. Yet, I was somewhat protected. Even now, I make a garlic infusion for garden pest control. Now finally, many previously unavailable herbal remedies are on the market. This is a mixed blessing, because the industry is largely unregulated. I hope that I may better assist Amazon buyers by publishing my reviews in this manner.

I did not know that the second bottle that came with these was a stem cell product. Or so it says. I’m very excited to use the whole entire bottle. I’ve been taking collagen daily for about a decade, this is a very decent product. However, I take five capsules. Versus the recommended to because 500 mg of collagen won’t do anything for you. I notice when I’m consistent taking collagen, my hair and nails benefit immensely from it, I can only imagine what it’s doing on a molecular basis. These capsules are all easy to swallow, there is no off, smell, and I have no tummy issues while taking them.

Each bottle contains 60 capsules, but the blue bottle recommends 1 capsule per serving while the orange bottle recommends 2 capsules per serving. They appear to both contain beneficial vitamins, including in the blue bottle AFA or Aphanizomenon flos-aquae which is supposed to help fight inflammation. CONS - The printing on the bottles is very small and hard to read. I cannot find on the bottle nor in the advertisement when it is recommended to take them (together? separate? nighttime? morning?). OVERALL - These are promising vitamins but need clearer written instructions and recommendations. Thank you for reading my review!
