Promix has been my go to protein powder for years! I got tired of reading a paragraph of ingredients on the labels of other protein powders so I switched to Promix and never looked back! This unflavored whey isolate mixes easily with water or milk with no clumps. It can be used in overnight oats, hot regular oatmeal, or in smoothies. One thing, if you are looking at unflavored whey, please know unflavored whey DOES have a taste. For me, it's not unpleasant at all. Maybe like a watered down powdered milk? Definitely recommend if you want to add quality protein to your diet.

Mixes incredibly smoothly and milky in “flavor” my favorite protein powder! The only annoying thing is that when you first open it, the powder explodes everywhere. And I am drowning in scoops. The zipper for the bag is nice after you scrape off all the powder stuck in there.

Just because this whey is "unflavored" does NOT mean it is tasteless! If you have never taken a spoonful of whey from plain yogurt, do yourselves a favor and do so! You will realize that this liquid has a taste to it and personally I do NOT like eating it by itself! HOWEVER the whole purpose of me purchasing this whey for the family was so that we could enjoy some nutritious shakes etc. We purposely do not buy flavored whey as we do not want the list of ingredients that comes with it, preferring to add our own. Chocolate, caramel, strawberry...... the choices are limitless. Mix this grass fed whey with some almond or cashew milk, sweetener and flavor of choice plus some ice and you will NEVER know the whey is in there. Trying to drink it by itself? Quit torturing yourself! I researched for many hours and read many reviews before deciding on this GRASS FED Whey Isolate. I knew I was risking it by ordering 5lbs the first time around but decided to do so anyways. What pushed me towards this one? If purchasing beef we like to purchase grass fed as not only do we prefer the taste but also believe it to be better for our health. Yes, I realize that whey does not come from the meat of a cow! We also believe that grass fed milk is better for your health thus deciding on this whey. We have NOT been disappointed! 5lbs is a LOT of whey. It comes in a large plastic bottle with screw on lid. (Sealed on outside and inside for double protection.) Height of bottle is almost 11 1/2" and the diameter at the base is 7 1/4". The bottle is nearly full when it arrives. This whey appears to be a well made, verified product (you can read all the nutritional information in the listing) and we have used it many times. Highly recommended. Looks expensive when compared to other whey protein products but if you do the math considering that the main thing you're buying is the protein itself, you're getting a really good price per ounce for the protein without having to pay extra for fillers that dilute it and flavors that you can add on your own without any unpronounceable ingredients. Ounce per ounce for the protein it's actually cheaper than regular whey protein or protein shake mixes. This stuff is almost 100% pure protein and a source of protein that your body can really exploit in terms of absorption.

The first time I bought this product it was great, no weird taste. So I bought it again, but this batch tastes horrible. Very disappointing
