Replacement Backlit Remote for TCL & Hisense Roku TV | Compatible with Roku Streaming Box (Essential TV Controls, Pairing Required)

Wow! I Love this remote! I spent 2 hours looking at remotes and reading reviews before choosing this one. I'm so glad I did. It arrived quickly and took 3 seconds to simultaneously connect it with both my Roku Express and Vizio non smart Tv. Just Put 2 AAA batteries in (not included) then held the source and power button down at same time for 3 seconds. I've never had such an easy experience connecting a remote. It works the tvs volume even. The source button to change the AUX is right on front of the Remote. (Use to quickly and easily change back and forth from tv/satellite /cable/Roku). Volumes on the side. Rarely can you find an inexpensive (especially a non name brand remote ) that works both the TV and Ruko devices ( including TVs that aren't Roku TV's). I love the backlight. It has so many shortcut buttons. Finally a remote that controls my Roku express device and it has shortcut buttons for all the streaming channels that I use including Amazon Prime, Hulu, Netflix, VUDU, Disney, YouTube, ESPN, Ruko and it even has one for Spotify! The backlight brightly lights up everything on the remote. You can clearly read all of the buttons so I don't have to remember where and what the buttons are or turn on a light to see what I'm doing. Before my hubby would get so frustrated trying to figure out and remember how to use the Ruko so he'd only watch anything using it if I put something on for him to watch. With this remote he now has no issues and can use the Roku himself. The only thing it doesn't have is the hole for headphones but that's almost irrelevant since most people use wireless headphones now. I don't get excited over many products but I am over this remote and I definitely recommend it.

I have an insignia Roku TV from 2017. Put batteries in remote and it immediately worked with no issues. No irritating pairing functions were necessary. All buttons and features function as expected. No voice command functions exist but i knew that when purchasing; only mention because Amazon review system seems to think that is a feature needing review. Would recommend this to anyone looking for a replacement for roku tv remotes.

I ordered this because I thought it was a bigger version of a regular roku remote. Turns out, it's the same size with way more buttons too close together. You have to have long skinny baby fingers to operate this. If you do not have long skinny baby fingers, do not order it! It will only frustrate you trying to not press 2 buttons at once. Bad remote! 👎Thumbs down on this.

For one thing, the texture is mildly irritating. But I was able to get used to this pretty quickly, as it isn’t that bad. More importantly, though, the down button and the volume down button aren’t sensitive enough, and often don’t work at all, and if you press Play or Down while the tv is on a screensaver, it launches a new app, sometimes losing your progress in the process. The beam also doesn’t work at as many angles as the original. Now I’m conflicted about which remote to use, because the original doesn’t have all the app buttons, but this one sucks in various ways. It’s frustrating, and makes me wish I’d just bought the official voice control one instead, which I’ll probably do next anyway. One more thought, it would be cool if there was a Tubi button instead of a Sling, ESPN or Vudu button. I hope the creators take these criticisms into account and make a better product for future buyers, although I will not be one of them, because my trust is broken. EDIT! Does not work at all except the home button anymore!!! Complete scam. Completely breaks after return period is up!!

I bought two of these for two separate Hisense TV,s if that matters. I love the ease of navigation that the selection of buttons offers. They work very well. Over all it is a great design, my only complaint with these remotes is the volume control buttons are rather finicky and seldom work properly. You have to fight and press them over and over again in my experience with both remotes. I have tried changing battery's and angles avoiding things around to make sure there is no interference. The volume control issue is still prevalent.

Works well for my TCL ROCU samrt TV. Easy to use. Great value for the money. It feels good in my hand. I love that it has voice control. That is a plus that I enjoy.

Bought it because keys are backlit. It’s works fine. Set up instructions are not well written but was able to figure it out. Overall, good value and works as described. Update: I didn’t like some of the lack of functionality of this product and I purchased a GE version for a few dollars more. It was worth spending more to get a superior product.
