So I will say right now that I don't love marshmallow. It can be pretty excessive in its sweetness, and the idea of consuming straight sugar in my 30s really doesn't put my mind or waistline at ease. Thankfully, what's been created here is a marshmallow treat that does the job in a more subtle way, that really might not even appeal to children. The twists themselves are small enough that eating one or two isn't a caloric nightmare (probably, I haven't actually done the math since it might make me cry) which is great because it means the marshmallow-to-chocolate ratio is more balanced and not so "marsh-heavy." The biggest surprise was that the cherry flavor was much more subtle than I'd expected, since I was planning on a very artificially blown-out cherry blast, but instead got a slightly-sweet slightly-fruity bite, wrapped in a chocolate shell, with the pleasant bounciness that marshmallow affords. Having read some of the reviews above, it does seem like the flavor doesn't agree with some other's palates, but I really can't come up with any negatives to address, so if that's the case I guess that means its a 5/5 from me.

I love these marshmallows! The chocolate coating is somewhere between milk and dark (although probably a bit closer to milk chocolate ) and melts easily in your mouth, and the marshmallow inside has a delicate cherry flavor very reminiscent of chocolate covered cherries, without the mess.I very much appreciate that they use vegetable coloring, and did not use a bunch of artificial coloring on the inside for the soft pink color, which I feel would ruin the flavor. Joyva brand is very reliable for tasty treats, and this is no exception. If you can't find them in your grocery store, this is a great way to make sure you have them for a special holiday or all year-round.

I really enjoyed eating these! I like cherry and chocolate together and felt like it had just enough flavoring. (I know another poster noted how strong the cherry flavor was, but that wasn't my experience at all.)While it was dark chocolate, it was just barely dark chocolate. It was missing some of those bitter notes I love, but I really enjoyed it for what it was.I love the texture of these, which is the primary reason I gave it a five. They marshmallow is not too soft and not too chewy. They reminded me a lot of two candies I ate growing up: The marshmallow eggs that came in the egg carton or the flat santa claus marshmallows covered in chocolate. It's a textural thing, and these were just right.

The cherry flavor is unfortunately overwhelmingly strong, so these didn't quite work out for me personally. My husband seems to enjoy them though, so we give them 4 stars between us. They are very fresh and almost melts in your mouth. If you love cherry flavored stuff, this is the one you want. And it's a 2-pack, it's a lot of marshmallow!

These marshmallow treats definitely hit the spot! I loved these chocolate coated marshmallow logs, and the subtle and well done cherry flavor gives them a perfect balance. Just really like that you can still taste the marshmallow through the cherry flavor. Honestly, due to how these marshmallows appeared on the listing pictures, i did exoect them to be in the form of small discs. They are indeed in the shape of finger-length logs with much densely spaced ridges. All candies are nonwrapped and carefully packed in the boxes, and they are in excellent condition. Both boxes of marshmallows are neatly presented and the outside wrapped in a thin plastic film, and can serve as also a quick and impressive gift. There aren't too many marshmallows per box, but they are still highly satisfying to eat.

I found that these were overwhelmed by the cherry flavor in the marshmallow. I didn’t get much dark chocolate flavor, and I wasn’t expecting that. The marshmallows were also pretty sugary and tasted like medicine to me. I personally didn’t enjoy the taste of it, and it also was thick inside. Perhaps another flavor would be better.

These candies are excellent! They arrived in a very nice cardboard candy box. Each piece is in it's own space in the plastic insert. The candy is a soft, fluffy cherry marshmallow, covered in dark chocolate. What's great about the marshmallow filling is that it's flavor is a mild cherry. It's not tart or overly sweet. For me it was just right. The dark chocolate pairs so well with the cherry flavor. I didn't measure them, but each piece is approximately 3-4 inches long. Love these delicious candies!
