Tastes great and mixes well!
My observations: This mixes really well. Even with milk, it's not gloopy, but tastes pretty similar with water. It's generally a few more g of protein than the 'normal' whey powders.Taste? It's made from peas so it's gonna taste a bit 'green'. However, it's refreshing as its not artificial. I opted for Vanilla, and can recommend.Texture wise, it is smooth, but also has a slight 'graininess' to it - I guess this is the pea powder, but it's not off putting at all. I'd buy this again over whey.

Quite Awful..
After reading the reviews, I thought "can't be that bad?". I've tried the Bulk whey protein vanilla version which I like a lot so I figured some of the reviews might just be over-exaggerating but... yeah... tastes awful. It has a grainy texture which is bearable when mixed with fruit for a smoothie. I just really couldn't hack the weird after-taste. I tried to push through and brainwash myself into liking it but sadly no... I think the Bulk team really need to revise the recipe because it doesn't taste right.I guess this would be suitable for people who want a cheap vegan protein powder option - ideally if you have weak taste buds and don't mind the feeling of fine sand in your drink.

Awesome protein powder
Awesome protein powder!- Great variety of protein sources used.- Dissolves in water very well without having to use a blender.- It's not grainy at all in my experience, but the texture is obviously different than whey protein, as expected.- Affordable.- Don't get discouraged if you don't like it unflavoured!! I don't like it unflavoured at all but it tastes amazing if you add a sweetener (I use stevia) and/or flavouring drops (I use vanilla flavouring drops with sucralose) and/or cocoa powder. Then I like it as much as whey protein :)

Challenging to get down, but good value
I've tried the following dairy-free protein shakes: Vegan Gainz, Bulk Vegan (3 flavours), EarthChamp and SCI-MX Pro-V Gain. The last is the nicest tasting of the lot and the highest protein, but the sucralose sweetener upsets my gut.Vegan Gainz, Pro-V Gain and even EarthChamp tend to be pretty similar in value at about 30 servings for around £30.Bulk is much better value, but vanilla, strawberry and chocolate cookie flavours are... challenging to get down (at least, when made with water - perhaps trying some milk substitute or mixing it in a smoothie is the way forward).Relatively lump-free and I like that one scoop of powder makes one shake (why faff with one and a half?) and I love that it uses Stevia as a sweetener. But only 20g of protein per shake (compared to 30g in Vegan Gainz and Pro-V Gain).

I made a terrible mistake... Does not mix into yogurt
Not a success. I have been mixing Bulk's Whey Powder into yoghurt and it mixes in beautifully, you hardly know it's there. This stuff forms clumps like a crumble! (Photo) Completely inedible. I then tried drinking it with the 300ml water as per instructions, mixed in a blender. The natural ingredients clearly have a very strong earthy taste because in no way was this 'unflavoured' and I couldn't drink it. I might try adding this to savory dishes but for how I use it, it's a total failure.

Tastes great, consistency is smooth
Curbs the chocolate cravings! Great nutritional ratios. Not powdery or grainy like some other brands. I used with almond milk and leave in the fridge a few mins before drinking, I find it gives a more milkshake-y feel then.

Avoid and save your money
The most disappointing protein powder. Bulk used to be my staple. I swapped it for PHD plant protein and lured by the yummy new flavour of Chocolate Cookies, I decided to buy it. Oh the instant regret... it creates a builder grade paste out of anything. I tried it with multiple milks, yoghurt, porridge etc and it manages to turn everything into a disaster. The flavour is the worst part; it's bland and yet somehow leaves a bad aftertaste. Can't return it so straight to the bin it goes

Taste is not bad but grainy and it glue settles to bottom of the bottle
I bought this as an alternative to whey. It has nice flavour but you can taste the grains, even when it's added to baking. We have been trying to mix it in various ways but it still settles to the bottom of the bottle and makes create gluy splodge.Might perhaps be ok, if you prepare it and straight away drink it but not if you take it with you to work or so.
