Body material and overall mechanical design are robust. The clip also feels durable (even if made of plastic), fits tightly on the body and works well in practice. For me the base functions (temp/continuous/low) are enough. The beam distribution (bright centre and a bit less bright surroundings) seems to be a good compromise. Brightness overall has been well enough for walking in a wet forest with no snow giving any help. Accidentally tested also the water resistance - I managed to drop the Mag-Tac into low water while doing the dishes - without any effect. On a negative side the batteries can be expensive and the body feels very cold even in close to zero temperatures, not to mention something like -20 degrees. But these dis-advantages were known and accepted while purchased. Of course the reliability will be seen in the future but I wouldn't expect any surprises. BR, M

I own several high end flashlights and always like to buy the good quality pieces. I needed a small flashlight because I thought I had lost one of my older MagLite LED flashlights (turned out it was just misplaced!). So by the time I found my old one this one had arrived. It was so nice I could not bear to ship it back!It throws off a strong light for its size (much brighter and broader than my old small LED MagLite) at 320 lumens. The finish quality and feel on the flashlight are excellent. I really liked the Coyote color too as it is different from the typical flashlight colors I was looking at.It comes with two Lithium CR123 batteries which are easy to install. The black clip is optional and does not come installed but is easy to attach if you desire. Operation is crazy dumb simple. Hold down for momentary light, two quick clicks for full power and 3 quick clicks for low power operation.Only con I could give it but wouldn't knock a star off for it (as it is preference) would be if they had the clip in matching Coyote color instead of black. Not a big deal but aesthetically it would have looked a little better I think. It doesn't look bad with the black clip though.A great little flashlight. I recommend it highly. If you do use it alot or for long runtimes get a few backup CR123 lithium batteries to have as spares.

Bei dieser Maglite MAG-TAC Plain Bezel stimmt die Qualität. Die Lichtausbeute ist ebenso enorm. Ich bin mit dieser Thematik vertraut und habe schon einige Taschenlampen ausprobiert. Man merkt wirklich, dass man Qualität in der Hand hält. Die Bedienung ist Super, die Lichtausbeute wirklich enorm und die Leistungsdaten Top! Der Energiesparmode ist mir sehr wichtig, da man bei diesen exotischen Batterien auch Energie sparen kann. Der Sparmode sollte für die meissten Anwendungen völlig ausreichen. Der helle Mode ist wirklich überraschend stark und müsste keinesfalls heller sein. Ich kann diese Lampe mit der "plain bezel" nur weiter empfehlen. Ich empfehle für den "normalen" Anwender unbeding die Version mit "plain bezel" wegen batterieschonender Nutzung, da die andere "crowned bezel" nicht über einen Energiesparmode verfügt und der helle mode für die meissten Anwendungen schon zu hell ist. Fazit: Top Qualität mit enormer Lichtausbeute und praktischen Sparmodus!!!! Batterien am besten online für ca. 1.70 euro pro Stück als 10er Pack auf Vorrat kaufen! Diese Batterien halten Spannung konstanter als normale Batterien und man verfügt daher quasi über eine geregelte Lampe! Spass bis zum Schluss!!!

Bellissima torcia MAGLITEA differenza delle altre torce dello stesso brand e` una versione piu tattica e tecnica.. la qualita` costruttiva e` simile alle xl100 (che possiedo) e xl200 ma la verniciatura sembra piu` resistente e professionale.. anche la forma e le dimensioni sono simili.Per averla ho rivenduto una surefire g2x, poiche questa maglite consente la doppia illuminazione a piena potenza 320lumen (ca4ore autonomia) e bassa potenza 45lumen (per ca17ore di autonomia)..La doppia illuminazione e` essenziale se non si ha bisogno di tutta la potenza.. esempio se si e` in interno o per effettuare dei lavori, allungando cosi la durata delle batterie..La consiglio dunque per:- ottimo prezzo- Ha anche la clip (plastica) porta cinghietto- doppia guarnizione impermeabile- doppio output di illuminazione- qualita` costruttiva e durabilita` nel tempo

Love this flashlight, nice and bright, has decent battery life. Kinda wish it was a little skinnier but that’s not really a problem. If you are looking for a good bright flashlight grab this one
