Great for learning
This sippy straw cup has been perfect for helping my 6-month-old learn to drink independently! The straw is soft and easy for little mouths to use, and the handles make it easy for tiny hands to hold. It doesn’t leak, even when my baby tips it over or throws it (which happens a lot!). The size is just right, and it’s lightweight enough for her to manage on her own. It’s also easy to take apart and clean, which I really appreciate. Great choice for introducing a straw cup early — highly recommend!

Great product
My 1 year old started using these around 10 months and picked up on it right away. She loves them. Sometimes the lid is tough to open if the straw gets stuck but she can’t open it by herself yet anyway. She’s use to having to tip her head back to get the water so it was a learning curve. Anti choking since she can sip it up through the straw without tipping.

Love them!
These may seem a little expensive, but I was pretty desperate to get my daughter to start drinking from a sippy cup before summer started. I bought the 360 miracle trainer cup for her and tried to teach her how to use it for an entire month, starting around 6 months old. She HATED it. She liked drinking from it with the lid off, but any time we put the lid on, she just threw a fit. I tried it too, and to be honest I found it difficult to drink from. I read a bunch of reviews and decided to try this straw cup at around 7.5 months, and she almost immediately figured it out and has been drinking from it like a pro for about a month and a half now. It does not leak, even when she accidentally drops it from her high chair (though the flippy little removable straw cover always falls off if she drops the cup). I also like that the handles can be removed when she doesn't need them anymore, and it's really easy to take the entire thing apart to wash it - yay for no mold!

Introducing water
Other family member little ones use these and love them. Bought for my little one and she enjoyed it. First time introducing water (which she usually drinks when eating solids to wash down her food) and “fishy’s” do go inside. I took a picture for those that wonder all the parts you would need to clean. Overall, they are cute, work great and easy to use. Over time I do feel like the straw squishy part does fall apart. I have had mine for about 3 months and starting to notice a slice. Another thing I notice is the life is not easy to close and open. On top of that it does leak if there is liquid trapped in the straw and you close the lid

ABSOLUTE GARBAGE!!!!
ABSOLUTE GARBAGE!! The handles not being attached to the lid make it very hard to open! But maybe that was just their way of telling us not to use it because our kids can’t even suck out of them!! I tried my 16 year old tried and so did my 8 year old!! All it did was cause a massive fit for my almost 2 year old!!! Oh and in the process of the fit the cup was thrown causing it to crack!!! Just all around a terrible cup!!!

Great but needs regular thorough maintenance
My baby/toddler has been using these cups for a year now. She is very strong and throws these on the ground many times a day, but they have yet to break. She loves these cups and prefers them over others we have. Very easy for transitioning from bottles. You do have to take everything apart to clean it. My advice is to hand wash with warm/hot soapy water (it says it's top rack dishwasher safe but I'm afraid the dishwasher will degrade the squishy parts and also create more microplastic risk) and then let it COMPLETELY DRY over the course of several hours or overnight. You'll need a nipple brush or straw brush (like a stiff pipe cleaner) to clean the tube and the straw part. Don't forget to clean the threads of the cap, which also can attract mold (which I discovered when I took these cups with us to a humid tropical location on vacation). Also, while these didn't leak at first, they do leak now, after one year of use, if you turn them upside down. I won't take a star off for that or for the mold, as I'm sure it's unpreventable and you won't have an issue as long as you regularly clean and let dry 100%.

The only cups that HELPED get baby OFF BOTTLE!! Thank you!
After struggling to get my almost 2 year old off drinking milk from a bottle these cups were the only ones that worked! My child has been drinking water in the OXO straw cups since age 1 with no problems but was incredibly stubborn with taking milk in any straw cup and refused other cups even if they were different colors etc. I noticed these cups were smaller, a different color, and had little handles making it appear very different and spark bring some interest and comfort to my child. Sure enough that’s what happened and quickly. After refusing milk in other straw cups for about a week once I offered these cups and my Baby took the milk within a day. Baby would hold onto the cup of milk, perhaps their way of getting ready to let go. I just said “Here’s your milk” and allowed Baby their space. After cleaning the cups and refilling with fresh milk a few times finally Baby drank milk on their own by the evening. Never went back to the bottle even when turned down the cup in the morning because by the afternoon they took milk in the cup again and it very quickly became a new habit. We are now bottle-free solely because of these cups, in only a few days. Thank you OXO for making amazing high quality products.

12+ months I’d say
Not for a 6 month old. Hard to suck water out of since you need to bite down on the straw in order for the water to flow through. I’m sure it’s suitable for an older baby, but wouldn’t recommend for 6 months of age. Good quality though in general
