Review: EXCELLENT ACTIVITY BOOK FOR STROKE SURVIVORS! - I'm a stroke survivor, the host of a large stroke support group and I HIGHLY recommend this activity book! I have heard of caregivers buying children's books to help their loved ones regain their writing and speaking abilities, but this activity book is FAR better! This activity book is written with a true stroke survivor in mind, by specifically tailoring the exercises in the book to some of the common difficulties that stroke survivors often find challenging following a stroke. The exercises in the book are easy enough to do for a survivor with even minimal mobility, but the book also "graduates" little by little as you go farther into the book. So, as the stroke survivor accomplishes one task, the next task may be a wee bit more challenging, in an effort to help the survivor achieve greater recovery. There are also informational "warm-up" exercises in certain sections of the book to help the survivor learn ways to achieve the most amount of recovery as they do these exercises. Also, this activity book is written to help the stroke survivor regain their handwriting ability, as well as their speaking ability, if they happen to suffer from aphasia or dysarthria. I've seen several worksheets that therapists have handed out to their patients, but I haven't seen anything out there as great as this activity book! 10 stars to the author! Thank you for creating this very helpful tool! You are going to help a lot of people achieve recovery from their stroke! I plan on recommending this to all of the members of my stroke support group! Review: Good for post concussion syndrome - Would also recommend for POST CONCUSSION SYNDROME or mini TBI. Excellent tool for general occupational therapy for ICU patients recovering after long stays. I make copies, laminate than and give them wet erase markers.

Practical Help for Stroke Recovery
This Stroke Recovery workbook has been a meaningful part of my momโs rehab routine. The exercises are clear and she can work at her own speed without feeling overwhelmed. Itโs helped her stay motivated and track small wins which have made a big difference for her confidence. The layout is easy to follow and the prompts feel encouraging rather than clinical. Iโd recommend it to anyone supporting a loved one through recovery.

Excellent workbook!
I bought this book after I had a stroke so I could practice writing. It was amazing what a little practice did for my skills. Most people don't know I had a stroke.

Good first book
This was a nice book for my husband to use in stroke recovery. It was a little hit or miss for interest, though.

Helpful for Adults with Brain Injuries
My loved one suffered an anoxic brain injury and this book was very helpful in the early days of recovery. It is not childish or demeaning but engaging enough to work through for adults needing mental stimulation.

Excellent resource
This book was so helpful after my dad had his stroke. He had a lot of problems with handwriting initially and this book was a great way to get his function back while also being able to compare pages to track his progress. Highly recommend.

Stroke recovery book
The pages are in black and white so the pictures are hard to see since some are in bold and others are transparent like. Would be better if it was in color!!
