Worked great on my Switch. You do need the power supply cord standard type C. Also you will need an HDMI cord. Great for travel. When I hooked a fast charger to this it charged and played same as our traditional dock.

I bought this for traveling so I wouldn't have to pack the normal Switch dock and it's perfect for that! It fits easily in my Switch case and is super easy to use.

The reason why I am scared to try it is because I have read that some of these converters (not this brand or type in particular) can brick your switch. I still wanted to get it though because I like to travel with the switch but it is VERY inconvenient to travel with the charging dock and to be able to connect it to the TV. I read on Reddit of potential brick-age. The people of Reddit also recommended that the best 3rd party dock is from Best Buy - but that dock is the same shape as the original dock and just so very awkward to travel with. Here is to hoping my Switch stays safe! I am giving it 4 stars and will update if necessary.

This worked so well. I bought my nephew a TPU rubber case for his Nintendo switch and by the tiniest little amount it's just too thick in order to use the OEM Docking Station from nintendo. Therefore, this provides such a convenient alternative because it connects to the switch just like the docking station does with the same cabling, but it allows devices to connect the TV the same as they would with a standard docking station. I only used it for a short time so far to test it, but I was quite impressed. My only complaint about this one was that I thought I would receive the white one in the picture, but instead I received a red red one which had a "X O" on it. Not sure if I was sent the wrong color in error, but either way, it still works and the color/design on it wasn't important to me.

this little dongle looking thing is essentially what the switch dock is, just mashed down to a tiny package. it supports HDMI, USB and USB C (for power) you just plug it into the switch (also works on a cellphone!) and hook up the cables to the tv and power source. it just, works. its not anything magic, its all the ports you might need for portability of a switch dock, but tiny sized! i recommend this to travelers!! no more dragging the docking station around! its a great fit for the pocket, so it is indeed tiny and does the job.

I like this adapter a lot and think it would be great for travel or even just use at home if you don't like or broke your factory dock. It smaller than I expected and still allowed me to plug and play my switch on my TV while also charging my second pair of joycons with the USB port. It feels durable in my hand and looks high quality. I've had issues with some aftermarket docks not working with aftermarket chargers, but this dock worked perfectly fine with my aftermarket charger and my stock charger. Overall, I'm really happy with the dock and would recommend this to others.
