Almost perfect...
This will work perfectly for what we want but after reading the other reviews, I knew the ducks would be nearly impossible to 'catch' even for skilled adults. We bought floating plastic rings that are reasonable to catch at the $1.00 store to use with this adorable little pool. The rods and plastic 'hooks' are equally adorable and would entertain little ones with enough supervision to keep the rods in the pool and not swinging around at each other. You can let them 'fish' without water in the pool to build up their dexterity. Exactly as described, arrived promptly and well packaged.

Not Even Usable
Hi, knew the kids would go crazy for this - I have a daycare. The ducks are cute and their quality is good. The mat is ok in quality and ok, not great in size and function. But the biggest flaw is that it's almost impossible to hook a duck with the hook that's on the pole. Actually, come to think of it, it's really not a good lesson to teach children to fish for ducks. Cute fish would be a more ethical choice. Seller was first rate - product - was a mistake.

But rest assure the toddlers enjoyed just playing in the water
It was much small once we actually seen it & the cord came loose from hook, which made it impossible to fix. But rest assure the toddlers enjoyed just playing in the water, so all wasn’t lost

Fun and easy game for kids but not well made.
It's a simple and fun game for kids to play with. The pool holds the water pretty well and the game generally works as advertised. The problem with it is that the fishing rods break very easily and after one use by the kids (ages 3-7), one of the rods broke during the game (the tip snapped off while lifting up the ducks). It shouldn't break that easily and hopefully we just had a defective rod. Otherwise the kids liked using it.

Smaller than the picture makes it seem
Purchased this for "kids day" at work, and even though it is a lot smaller than the picture would lead you to believe, the kids still all sat around this and seemed to like this game over the others. I just wish it was a little bit bigger like the picture makes it seem.
