This marble run comes with a lot of pieces. There are a lot that are straight and short, but that's nice to be able to get the height for some of the funnel and other pieces. This is like a mini marble run. It uses mini marbles, not regular sized marbles. Make sure they stay out of kids mouths.The purple piece is supposed to shoot the marble up and around the curve into the funnel. We built it the size and height of the example in the instructions. It only shot the marble over the top about 1 in 20 times. We lowered it by 1 piece, and we got better odds. Not consistent, but more like 1 in 7 times. There's not quite enough room for the fulcrum to work on the piece and get enough force. But, that part is fun when it works.They go together easily, but they don't snap together or anything, so they also come apart if you knock it slightly.

This was a piece of junk. My daughter and I tried multiple times to assemble this to no avail. It wouldn't stay up when we did put pieces together, the marbles are itsy-bitsy ...much smaller than regular marbles. The entire thing was a falling down mess. I wouldn't recommend at all.

I bought this on a deal, and I have to say I’d never pay the original $30 price for it. It’s completely un sturdy, the catapult doesn’t work even with slamming your hand on it, and after I put the whole thing together and get down to the last piece, it was designed shorter than the rest and therefore doesn’t fit. My 3 year old loves marble run and I was so excited to give it to her, but unfortunately will be returning.

There are a lot of colorful parts that fit together nicely. However, there aren't enough of the parts needed to make custom runs such as a long straight run or very tall run. For tall runs, the bases need to be larger to prevent tipping.From the description, I expected standard size marbles and piece sizes. The mini size delivered isn't really my main concern, but stability is a problem with such a small base.

Everything came included & it seems pretty sturdy, but the marbles depicted on the box are colorful. In reality, the included marbles are totally clear & are not standard size. They are 12mm peewee size. I just want the false description noted, but otherwise the toy fits together just fine. My 5 yo & 3 yo can assemble it with ease.

This set was a winner for the kids' playtime. They have so much fun with these with hours of fun. They make up all sorts of towers and runs with the different chutes. The marbles are definitely a choking hazard. Kids 4+ recommended. The plastic won’t hold up with too much abuse but they do fine if you are gentle with them. Kids love them.
