I bought this lamp for my son to use while he worked on his WarHammer and it has been a great product. He has used it for a few years and have not had any issues. It is a sturdy lamp that doesn't take up a lot of room. He seems to like the versatility of the level of light he needs. I think it was a good product for the price.

Perfect size for when I need help seeing the tiny things I like to work on. So many settings so I can get the light just right for me wherever I am in the house. I really like that I can attach it to a table top or use the weighted base. And the price was very reasonable.

This comes with a very heavy base, which was great, as we didn't want to clamp it to the table. My wife is currently using it for lighting up her work area while doing diamond art. The magnifying glass is very clear, with no distortion. It is a very sturdy unit, and is stable with the heavily weighted base. We are pleased.

The lamp & magnifier themselves are great, the magnifier works great + the light is nice and bright. And the arm has clamps w/ knobs on the joints that you can adjust/tighten to suit your needs. And it's nice that it includes the USB charger - not all of these lamps do. Only the base is meh, it's just not heavy enough to hold the lamp if you move it very far to one side. So I used the clamp to hold the lamp. Measure your desk to see if the length of this lamp works for you - I needed a shorter distance for mine, and this one works fine. But for some desks, I could see where you might want a different lamp with a longer arm.

I got this Magnifying Glass with Light for doing close up art work. The stand is nicely weighted and the arm moves easily to many different angles. The light has 5 different color modes which comes in handy and you can change the intensity of the light. The magnifying glass works well for me when I'm doing close up work on a painting or working in miniature. Though I'm using the desktop base, the lamp also comes with a clamp that makes it easy to attach to different objects for outside or easel use.

One of the joys of getting older is needing bi-focals... or if you're really "lucky".... progressive lenses. Normally this isn't a big deal but when you get a splinter, it's hard to keep your head in the right angle to see through your bi-focals, hold a light and work the tweezers all while being able to SEE what you're working on. This magnifying glass saved the day by helping me with 2 of those tasks (the SEEING part and the light). Without a doubt I would have still been battling the splinter without this lifesaver...and I have used it for several other projects since. The base is heavy enough that you don't need to clamp it down, unless you really want to. The light is bright enough to see whatever you need to see and since it's dimmable you can dial it back if need be. I really wish I would have bought this earlier as I've had several projects I could have used it on and for the price, I kind of kick myself for not getting it sooner. Don't wait...just get it.

The magnifier is fine EXCEPT for how it connects to the thin plastic base. I can tell just by flexing it up and down a few times that this won't last long. The point where you insert the magnifier arm needs to be more robust. One the plus side, the light works as described, the magnifier seems sufficient. I should have spent a few dollars more and looked more closely.

Does an excellent job for painting minis. The light is much brighter than I expected. Even if I don't use the magnifying glass, I use the light. My wife will sometimes use it to paint her nails. I use the base so its easier to move around. I'm sure the clamp works fine but I've barely used it.
